The perfect little restaurant if you’re wanting beautifully prepared food with an amazing atmosphere in the heart of Stanley Street. I highly recommend starting your meal off with either the seafood platter appetizer or the classic Bruschetta, and sticking to the classics - a classic Margarita pizza is a true winner!
Ahhh I really enjoyed this cosy spot. They have a vast wine selection which will pairs very well with their food options. Seafood pasta and steak were absolutely delicious. Service is also attentive and very friendly. Can’t wait to come back.
A really lovely dinner. The service was excellent and the food was very tasty, with generous portions. Would rate this as the best Italian restaurant in Port Elizabeth.
Very busy, very loud so you'd better like a crowd especially in the evening. I had the calamari pasta and it was delicious. A portion just big enough for me and wonderfully spicy. Took home a brownie as well so the good times kept rolling. The waiter was nice and the food came in good time even though they were packed and we were a large party Vegetarian options: Not too many veg options on main meals. Mostly on the starters. But there are some seafood dishes Kid-friendliness: Not too kid friendly especially under 5s crowd
The service was quick and the waiters were very friendly. The food was very exquisite and had a real Italian feel to it. I'll definitely visit again when I want amazing food and a chilled mellow day out.
Brilliant food at every level. At most restaurants you expect at least one of the dishes you order to be a dud, but in all honesty, this place didn’t even serve anything average, everything was top notch. Very well played… and nice to finally find a decent pizza in PE too.
Great food, awesome cocktails and knowledgeable servers!Food: 5/5
Discovered by accident a week ago. Returned a week later! Authentic! Excellent! Value for money! Dare I say better than Nonna's home cooked food? I'll be back!
I called Friday, 30 September 2022 at 8:14pm to place an order for collection as we were told that we could place an order by Nolio even though we were enjoying our evening at a wine bar that did not serve food. The phone rang and rang, eventually someone picked up and I asked if I could place an order. I was told they're too busy to take my order - this is the first time I've witnessed a restaurant turn down business. the guy who answered the phone could've just said 'we have enough business for the night, we don't need your money - thanks' I looked forward to enjoying a meal at this establishment all week only to be disappointed and I'm really disappointed in the customer service - this was not expected at all. Tables are fully booked every week + weekend and the restaurant doesn't take orders for collection - this is not reassuring as it proves that the restaurant is heavily understaffed if the guy on the phone made it seem as though they can barely keep us with the restaurant's orders hence, they cannot accept collection orders.
Worst service ever! We went to Nolio for a late dinner. They brought my food with a long straight black hair. The restaurant was busy there were only 3 male waiters attending to about 6 tables. Our waiter was very busy to come attend to us, so one of the waiters came and we alerted him of the hair in my food. He took the plate back to the kitchen, no apology no explanation. We confronted him about that and he was so rude and defensive, claiming that to hair is not from their kitchen but could not explain where was it from. Our waiter never came to attend to us after that, in fact no one came after that up until we asked for the bill. That hair I. That Carbonara with a hair strand…. Disgusting!
