Astrix Towing

Just want to give a huge word of commendation to Ghys who runs this branch of Asterix. We had broken down in Colesberg and he responded almost immediately to our lofty request of getting our car all the way back to Johannesburg by the end of the day. His know-how of managing the loading and off-loading the vehicle to the flat-bed truck was exemplary and his calm, friendly and respectful demeanor were a delight to see in such a stressful situation for us. He drove the 225km from Bloemfontein to Colesberg to collect the vehicle and then followed us all the way back on the 620km back to Johannesburg, and all that with no prior notice being given and in the festive season. Ghys worked single-handedly and was such a reassuring presence, comforting us that all would be okay - and in the end, delivered on that commitment 100%.
