We stay in the caravan park. Its very noisy at night. The music is very load. The music is load, and not age appropriate for young kids during the day at the pool and in some people's tent/caravans at nights. There used to be strong control over noise disturbance at night, not sure why not this time. Not a peaceful and relaxing holiday for us grown-ups, but the kids love it.
What a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. It was great for the mind, heart and soul. The kids loved the activities, and to have a bit of freedom in a safe environment. We were very impressed with recent upgrades and constant maintenance that is done. We will visit soon again!!Rooms: 5/5
Camped with friends for 4 nights before travelling to Kruger Park. Had a wonderful camping experience with clean and neat abluctions, being cleaned and serviced regularly through day. Friendly staff, efficient and always ready to help! Enjoyed the pools and safe enviremont. Safety: Excellent safety at main gate. Walkability: Good. Food & drinks: Of good quality!
We had a wonderful stay at ATKV Eiland Spa. The accommodation was perfectly suited to our needs and they were clean. The resort has a selection of wonderful pools and a lovely restaurant with good food. The shop at the resort also had everything you need. We would definitely return.Rooms: 5/5
I camped at the Eiland for 2 nights. This must be one of the best places to enjoy a holiday. The swimming pools are sparkling clean and the hot pool just wants you to stay there forever. I must congratulate management with the way The Eiland is managed. It is always clean and everything where is is supposed to be. The campsites are clean and well managed. The ablutions are modern clean and the best I've seen. Over years I've visited the Eiland and every time there is some kind of improvement. I'll always return when I can. This is the place to go to forget about everyday worries and the rest of the world. The free wifi was also surprising as I've never been to a resort like this offering free wifi. Safety: Security always visible and patrolling. Food & drinks: There is a restaurant with a good variety menu. Food is well prepared and pricing is good.
The place is neat and tidy,my concern is their music they only play Afrikaans music ,they must also accomodate other people who are not Afrikaans speaking and most of their pamphlet and signage is written in Afrikaans ,they must also consider English as the majority of people are visiting this place and English is our international language. Rooms: Neat and tidy,have everything to use while you are there
Wow now this is a great place, even during loadshedding they still manage to have electricity in all the units. Absolutely worth every cent. The kids had an amazing time there. Safety: Ample security around us, very safe Walkability: Roads in resort are very walkable and not far from the pools and shops in resort. Food & drinks: Great tasting food.
We were campers and even though the weather was hot one day and cloudy the next we were able to enjoy the hot pools and all the resort has to offer.Service: 5/5
We camp in the camping area. It was wow. Place is beautifull ablution facilities very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpfull, polite and proffesional. Its a safe enviroment and will camp there again. We are from Brits North West. My children live in Phalaborwa. Nearby activities: Pools, put put, super tube, horse riding etc. Safety: Very safe Food & drinks: Take a ways and sitdown restaurant.
We enjoyed 7days with family at the Eiland and we had a wonderful time.Rooms: 5/5
