Not a good experience. Booked with my bank and drivers license details from the USA. Phone to find out if I may get the vehicle 2 hours earlier and was told that because I hold a South African passport, I could not get a vehicle at the foreign rates and had to pay the South African rates. Had to go in person to resolve this matter. I have never come across more extreme double standards as with this company. Do not recommend.
Had to cancel my booking because the monies they hold back are ridiculous amount. For an i10 I was supposed to leave about R30K including rental for 3day. Y'all have lost my business as a regular customer.
The service is very bad, Freedom is very rude, he's selfish and he doesn't have a good customer service, his communication skills are not tolerated and he doesn't respect people. They kept on deducting money from my fiance's bank account. Please deal with these kind of people before they chase business away. We have used Avis in Pretoria before and we never had such problems but in Emalahleni nah!!!! And they kept us waiting for a long time while the rude guy was out on lunch, like how professional is that kind of service? We are not happy at all. Please do something about this matter or clients will come once and go forever

I am going to pick up a vehicle now, i hope i dont get to be serviced by freedom nyathi. Avis must do something about this
The service of the personnel was very professional when collecting the car on the 16th of June this year at Witbsnk, Now I see they did not reverse the security deposit of R1450 and they deducted an additional R221 from my bank account for don't know what. With the inspection of the car when returning it they said there was chips on the lh front bumper, but i told the agent that these marks were there when i collected the car, i even showed her a photo of the marks but still they have not revered the securaty deposit and the dude doing the inspection on the 16th made a note of this. How do we do business?? NB: I would like someone to call me and explain this !!
Zambezi Avis gave me a car that has an expired etag then It was embarrassing then I had to pay from my pocket. Earlier this year they gave me a car with an expired disc then the grace period sustained me otherwise traffic cops would have dealt with me.
It was good, but I had to wait and I didn't get the Polo as my request.
They are always so friendly and helpful and understanding
