Such an amazing experience to visit this stadium that hosted the 2010 FIFA world cup. The stadium and surroundings are neat and well kept. The restaurants are a joy for the hungry visitor. A must see for all visiting Durban.
This stadium went from being one of the most remarkable stadiums during the FIFA 2010 to an abandoned derelict in 2022. The structure is still a sight to behold. And the arched walkway stretching over the top still draws a few visitors and tourists. Some guests still attempt the bungee jump from the top. One can also rent bicycles to go around the stadium. However the park and coffee shops remain closed after the pandemic. Lots of areas closed off with barricades. Hoping that this area will return to its former glory.
What an atmosphere! Irrespective of the team you're supporting, or even if you're not supporting any team at all...it's just epic! Soccer on television doesn't do fans any justice! Take it from me, buy that ticket and go watch the match live, you'll thank yourself Moses Mabhida is lit!
Calm and beautiful place to visit in Durban. It brings back 2010 World Cup Memories. Please continue keeping the place clean and well maintained. Durban Rocks
Loved the tour. Was disappointed that the cable cart to the top was no longer working. Apparently it's been years now. No mention of this on their website.
We definitely had an amazing time. The segway staff was very friendly and made our experience to be spectacular. Thank you
I thoroughly enjoyed it for the most part, the only thing I wasn't very happy about was the tuckshops, their prices differed everytime I went they were overcharging the staff were Unorganized, you could see that the young man was under pressure, the food and drink varieties were very limited and I'm not a fan of the drink without a kid especially since I had my 4 year old son with me
They just re opened and They need to hav the hiring of bicycles again by the cafe as its more convenient than the other side!
We did the stadium tour and it lasted approx. 30min. We were shown the presidential suite, the changing rooms and we went out onto the field. Unfortunately the lift to the top isnt working and it doesn't seem as though any attempt is being made to fix it? Which is very sad, as we went there specially there to do just that.
World class facility!!!But parking is a problem when there are big games. Please introduce Park n ride options. The train ride during the World Cup was the best...
