The "Durban Green Corridor" is an initiative between the Duzi-uMngeni Conservation Trust (DUCT) and eThekwini Municipality.
The "Green Hub" is an innovative and environmental-friendly building that houses an eco-tourism information and environmental education centre. The Green Hub also serves as general office of the "Durban Green Corridor".
The Green Hub offers:
• Tourist information about Durban Green Corridor’s "uMngeni Adventures", "iSithumba Adventures" and "eNanda Adventures": Learn about nature trails and arrange your booking of guided tours.
• General information about various outdoor activities and nature reserves in the eThekwini area.
• Equipment hire for recreational activities, such as canoes, mountain bikes and pedal cars.
• Information about the eco-protection policies and activities of the city of Durban.
• An innovative venue which organises and facilitates events.
The Green Hub is open daily from 8.00 am - 4.30 pm. Safe parking is available.
To bring local people back in touch with NATURE through eco-tourism and adventure sports so that they learn firsthand what is so highly valued and in urgent need of PROTECTION.
