"Banks Kitchen Shop was established in 1939 in District Six, Cape Town. It was started by Avraham Bank and his son Abba Bank.Banks Kitchen shop of today, at 77 Sir Lowry Road, Cape Town has the same feel that was nurtured by Abba Bank who sadly passed away in March 2008. The shop is now run and owned by his daughter, Debbie, and her family, thus keeping it a flourishing and thriving family business. Shop online or come through to the store."

I went there today, what a nice store. If you are a foodie there's no better place to be. They have the expertise, knowledge and products to back themselves. They are really on the ball
One of the few places where you will find a decent selection of kitchenware. I scoured Cape Town for a decent pot. Only banks were able to help
Atrocious lack of communication. I made a purchase on the 24th of February 2023, recieved one email to let me know that another one would be sent with my tracking number but nothing came. Multiple emails later and still no response on where my package is. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEIR ONLINE STORE. NB: I was finally able to get through to someone and the instore service from Shirley was impeccable. Those in charge of the online system need to reassess their approach or lack thereof.
Had an outlet at THE POINT SEA POINT but now shopping here necessitates a trip to WOODSTOCK. Large variety of kitchen items. Worth a visit.
Good range of products, helpful staff. Just a bit on the pricey side but then, isn't everything these days?? You can park on Sir Lowry's before 4pm, but parking is at a premium and the likelihood is you won't find any. There's a free car park just over a block away under the bridge, or on Lower Main Rd. There's also a tiny side street you can park in.
Amazing range of quality products. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
