I recently had the pleasure of dining at Barnacles, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile from the waitress, whose attentiveness and helpfulness throughout the meal truly enhanced my dining experience. As for the food, I opted for the rib, chips, and prawn special, and it exceeded all expectations. The ribs were tender, succulent, and packed with flavor, while the perfectly cooked prawns added a delightful seafood twist to the dish. The accompanying chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just the way I like them. It was a truly satisfying and mouthwatering meal. What impressed me further was the ease and convenience of making a booking at Barnacles. The process was straightforward, and the staff ensured that everything was in order upon my arrival. It made the entire dining experience seamless and stress-free. Overall, I highly recommend Barnacles to anyone seeking a fantastic dining experience. Location. Location. Location. Situated at the end of Elizabeth road in Sea View is a wonderful restaurant with the best Sea views you can imagine. The waves rolling and crashing add an ambience that nothing can beat. While super pods of dolphins swim up and down the coast almost continuously, riding waves and even leaping out of the water when they're having fun. The servers were nothing but wonderful and the food we had a sea food extravaganza, hake, calamari and queen prawns was delicious. Match that with a good draught beer and you have an experience that's tough to beat.

I am not from the coast. But I really love the sea. Barnacles offer a true coastal dining experience. The atmosphere is serene complimented with excellent food. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you for the experience.Food: 4/5

What a lovely experience. The location and view you can't put a price too. It is breath taking to say the least. There is pods of dophines that swim up and down the coast. So if you lucky you will see them and I have also spotted whales a few times. The manager is a lovely lady who has been running the business for over 22 years. It gets really busy because it's a locals favorite spot. So be patient you will be served. The food is also a treat and there is a warm loving atmosphere and all the staff are working hard to make you happy. It is a old house that has been converted into restraunt and has a really rustic feel. I will be back for the crayfish. See photos below. Kid-friendliness: The staff is really kind and friendly making you feel very welcome like a second home. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessiblity is there but the ground is not level but staff is more than willing to help.

Amazing view. Perfect place for whale spotting on a summer's day - we saw a whole school of whales the whole time we were there. Bring your binoculars! Fast and Friendly service. We had the Jalapeño balls for a starter which was very good. And the Calamari was quite nice as well.

What a lovely experience. The location, view is just priceless . It is breath taking to say the least. From entering to exit the staff makes you feel at , Service and food excellent, very busy but with the beautiful view of the sea it never felt like waiting, love it to bits! Definitely be back for more sherry on those cold days but warm reception and the fireplace

Pleasant relaxed place to have a meal. Very homely vibe. Great for whale watching, even from indoors. Fireplace at the ready if the weather gets too much outside.Food: 5/5
