Clean and neat. The basket of onion rings, chips, mozzarella balls, samoosas and spring rolls was good and well-priced. The drinks were cold and service was good. Show was fun. Sound quality could be better. Tables too close together. Parking is convenient. Overall a nice afternoon.
A pre-booked, end of year function was arranged at The Barnyard Theatre and included a buffet and the 80’s Rewind show. The show was enjoyable but the buffet left much to be desired. The various dishes kept on running out and you either had to wait around for ages for them to bring replacements or accept defeat and only have some of the food on the menu.
poor sound, cant hear the vocals or words for most of the show. All other barnyard venue's have brilliant acoustics, Gold reef barnyard is terrible and i would recommend Emperors instead, don't wast the money at Gold reef having half the experience you could have from a well run venue!
The staff is extremely rude and unhelpful, the manager Craig is the absolute worst. They pretend to want to help you but never actually get down to doing it, they are more worried about the colour of napkins and what their display holders look like and if they light up. I will never recommend them or encourage anyone to go there. Highly disappointed
Good Show but horrible experience afterwards in the parking area. Tried to raise it with Goldreef and Tsogo management afterwards with no success. Got the impression they don't care for their patrons safety at all.
Such an awesome and fun filled place. Really enjoyed the show. The buffet is not so pleasant though, limited food options and not so tasty
Really poor food.... If u eat there u might stop eating completely... Worse pizza I have ever eaten.that including one combo basket.... Meant to be beef samosas but all u can taste is soya... Tastes like feet.... Music abit on the loud end but the singers are great... Only thing I wish for is if I pay for a rock concert.... I don't expect hillbilly music......i think I just wasted 2 hours of my life..
Fantastic place. Really enjoyed the vibe and of course the show I'd been attending. A friendly environment.

Really poor food service. Had to wait over an hour for my order. Great show though sound isn’t audible for you to hear the lyrics.
