Dear Team Ward 4  We would like to offer our deepest thanks to all the members of your hospital staff more specifically Ward 4 team who made the last days of the deceased younger Sister of my wife so comfortable. She is no more with us but you helped us comforting her pain. We feel better knowing that those last few days of her life were full of the best possible care offered by your entire team. The kindness of all the nurses and paramedical staff including the doctors to our family members was really special. It really touched our hearts and smothered our pain. The service you have offered is something I will always treasure. If you could pass on my thanks to all the staff, I would be in your debt. I wish I could thank each and everyone of you individually.  Once again thank you so much.  Sincerely

My 5 stars review goes to Maureen Manthata is an invaluable asset to the occupational therapy department at Baragwanath Hospital. Her dedication, hard work, and commitment to her patients are truly admirable. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone in need of occupational therapy services. Keep up the good work

Doctors are okay, nurses are rude and do not help patients. They sit an gossip all day Lady's at the front desk are not help at all, they rude an look at you dirty if you ask for help  Will drop the names of nurses and videos taken

My 5 star  Goes to Dr Rubushe Ngwenya, Dr Lisa Di Miranda, Dr Nathalie Braam, Dr Maseko, Dr Prince and The Professor from Cuba who payed a big in my successful surgery on 05.05.2023. And the friendly nurses that attended to me. You guys are just brilliant, your level of professionalism, kindness, love is beyond what I can measure. You are proof that good doctors are there in our government institutions. I am super thankful for all the help I received. You deserve this 5 stats

Disgusting. My sister 13 years old was here for appendix it burst which is fatal we arrived at 5pm and only got served at 12am for her results. After 12am we had to wait until 11am the following day for her to be accepted into theatre for the removal of the appendix. The hospital was FITHY, BLOOD WAS EVERYWHERE,cotton swaps and cotton balls with blood on it was thrown on the floor. Patients would bleed out onto the floors and the blood would only be cleaned after 35 minutes. MEN AND CHILDREN were in mixed wards in the surgical emergency units. It was so disgusting and slow.

Arrived at casualty at 19:45 with a 11 yr old that was bumped. No triage to assess the young girl until 1h15 later!!! Just shocking. Want to know how does HIS reduce patient waiting time when the nurses at the desk is incompetent, and tells the mother that she must calm down then she will deal with her. How the f... can u calm down when ur daughter is laying on a bed, in pain and not being attended toooo is ask u

Chris Hani Baragwaneth Hospital is the most useless hospital simply because the workers are not friendly or helpful. Even if you have a letter that says you need to have a procedure done, they will send you away because the do not accept patients from certain areas. Simply pathetic. If you are ever injured hope thst you never have to go to Baragwaneth hospital. You will die there. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The worst hospital ever was transferred from tshiawela hospital to bara with an ambulance when I got there the nurses were busy drinking tea telling me that I must tell them when I feel pain ,irregardless of the pain I'm feeling.  Government employees are there for money only they're not double the job they like

My husband had severe hearing loss. Our medical aid Keyhealth would not pay for a cochlear implant. After many months of searching, we were contacted by the Baragwanath audiology department. Thorough tests were done and my husband finally got a cochlear implant in his left ear. The medical aid agreed to pay for the hospitalisation.  From registering as a patient to payment of each visit, the service was excellent. There were times we had to stand or sit in a queue, but the waiting period was not extremely long.  Thanks to Dr Amed and his fantastic team of audiologists and therapists, my husband is able to hear. He is no longer secluded and I find him more active in conversations. I can highly recommend the team at Baragwanath. They are professional, caring, understanding and friendly. Kind Regards

The hospital is too big you can get there Never have I ever received such bad service. The ladies at front desk is so rude and you can see they clearly don't want to help you.
