Bellville Public Swimming Pool

It's been years that I've been here but to my surprise what a change , clean, neat , lots of life guards that efficient and it's prices are cheap.. guess what seniors are FREE... it's a must go and dip again kinda vibe.

Very neat and clean. We got there in the afternoon but it was a great experience. Always lov d going there and yesterday was the same experience. A bit expensive as Adults pay R33 and kids under 16 pay R19. I noticed on my way out that you can buy monthly tickets as well. Not sure how that works though. Will find out next time. There were sufficient lifeguards on duty at all the pools. Place was neat at all times. At closing time the staff came around with black bags to collect the dirt out the bins around the premises.

Very safe for the kids...lots of lifeguards on site. Lots of trees for shade and camping. Closes very early @4.30 people are ushered our of the pools already...so best to go early for the kiddos to have a good time.

We were there on a day that was not really full and so we had the whole pool to ourselves. We really enjoyed the day there only issue is there is no pass outs so make sure u bring everything you need for the day or be willing to pay twice. There is a tuckshop but not much for lunch

I'd give a zero if I could. They have No available contact number, and showing up there on a hot December day only to find out they closed during the week and open on weekends only. This is the most inconvenient public service ever. At least have the decency to update a contact number.

So many lifeguards on duty was nice to see but for the smokers there is only one designated area for those that smoke

Does not have signage that accurately depicts opening times, I went there today when it is supposed to be open and was told that the pool is closed, without any reason just that it is closed during the week, whereas all the signs say it is open from Monday to Saturday

The pool itself is good. The change rooms, toilets and buildings need an upgrade. Definitely beter lighting and repairs. They are kept clean. Some kids described them as "creepy".The parking is an issue because 90% is fenced off and can't be used. I do not know why this open parking cant be used for large events?

Was nice, no smoking inside though. Fairly safe
