Standard Bank PLEASE EDUCATE YOUR STAFF AT THE K90 branch. I’m sure you’re losing customers due to them. The lady that helped us didn’t know what she was talking about, she kept having to ask the lady next to her for the correct information. We explicitly asked about your Shyft card services and they straight up told me that I can’t get one because I’m not a Standard Bank customer! Yet your website says different?
The only reason its not 1 is because of the friendly lady that assisted me. Your front desk staff are beyond rude!!!! We went in twice they barely want to talk to you they are honestly just rude. I literally had to explain why I wanted to pay of my student loans to the man at the front because he didn’t want to right down my name and was extremely hesitant to do so even after me having to explain everything. I will NEVER go to this bank again.
Terrible, I have been to 5 other banks in less then the amount of time I have been standing in the queue at Standard bank. The security brought in a elderly man from outside to do something of getting proof of payment from outside at the teller queue. The much more elderly lady standing in the queue asked the security why there is only one teller on the 2nd and he said he doesn't know he is only the security, but why then help standard bank customer and pushing him infront of others thats been waiting for a long time? Service is disgusting....
Great service! I went into this branch to open a new account and Innocentia truly helped me a lot. Within less than an hour my new account was up and running. I am happy I moved away from Capitec!
Home affairs queue moves faster than this bank very very slow, try to avoid comming to this bank, one star is being very generous
Shocking service. Went in to have my email address for my statements changed waited and waited. Eventually left. Tried getting hold of my business banker. Left her a message and after 3 days she still has not returned my call. Standard bank this is why we close our accounts and move banks.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICOULUS!!!!! I have been waiting 3 hours in the sun to collect a new card. I am not sure what Standard Bank is trying to do by closing all their branches. How do you justify that waiting time. Ther service is horrific. The Collection teller is open, but they dont even use it. And if you opt for an option where they deliver the card. They charge you R200!!! Complete rip off.
I have had extremely terrible experience with this branch. Dealt with two people by the names of Martin and Busiswe. I required assistance on an application at first we was a good to go I was called to the branch to sign all relevant document. Following week I received a call to say my application was declined and now I receive the sms declined. Is this how Standard Bank treats its client with false information and makes them sign a legal contract with false results. I will be taking this up with higher management however this is the worst service ever. I have accounts with other banks but nothing like this. Why must a client go through so much and given all this false information. Legally standard bank is liable to stand on their word to me as a client due to my signatures on the documents!
The only reason there is 1 star is because they do not give the option for -10!!! 2 hours and have not been directed to right person.
I went to collect a new debit card this morning, wow was the service awesome and efficient. From the lady at the reception desk, and especially the people at the card collections counter. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Great job, this branch is awesome
