Super service from the staff always friendly and helpful. The sushi is fresh and tasty and the Chinese menu is really good food and decent portion sizes. I highly recommend the pork or chicken cashew nut dishes. They also do a great crispy beef. Average prep time is about 20 minutes depending on how busy the resturant is.Food: 5/5

This was a fantastic dish. It was so well balanced with chicken and veggies. The flavors were delicious and I enjoyed every bit of it. I can’t say the same for the other dishes but I hope they’re equally great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Update: Visited here again and wasn’t disappointed. The food was great.

Really had such a disappointing experience last night. We usually go to the branch at Table Bay Mall, but thought to try Bayside as the parking is free. It was a disaster. Even though the waiter apologized, it took forever for us just to be able to place our order as he had to make the milkshakes we ordered for the kids. On the red wine list, there were only 2 bottles available, the most expensive ones naturally. For My daughter I ordered the Pan Fried Bun, supposed to come with condensed milk. Arrived with no sauce. When I asked for it, he replied that they did not have. I mentioned it is supposed to come with the sauce. Response was if they don't have, what must they do. Hubby and I had the buffet. I ordered rhe springs rolls first and then sushi. When I asked about the spring rolls, he looked at me as if I was crazy. Hubby wanted to order a milkshake, we were told there was no syrup left. Menu also stated about 5 flavors, they had 3 when the kids ordered and none 10 min later when my husband ordered after there were barely people in the restaurant. Barely no sushi on the belt and the little there was dry. After all this I was really annoyed and lost my appetite completely after only starting my meal. We left and when I mentioned to the waiter while paying that he should make management aware of this was really trying to be polite I just got a cocktail attitude. Oh and yeah no Coke zero, no cream Soda. My sons chicken and corn soup had blobs of the egg, not even properly mxed in. Really disappointing and a waste of money!

Take away: 2 for 1 special. Just as well as portions were TINY. Even 2 portions barely made 1 portion. Flavour was odd on all the things I had. Stopped eating and binned 90% of the meal. R230 IN THE BIN. Oh, and don't for get all the bones in the salmon? As well as what taste like watered down soy sauce. Totally disgusted. If I'm pucking my stomach out in the next few hours, I know why.

The service here is friendly and helpful which is why the second star overall, but the food is dreadful. My wife maintains it was the worst meal we have had in nearly a quarter century of regular visits to the Western Cape. My chicken cashew had no flavour besides insufficient umami, and the stir-fried vegetables were insufficiently cooked - they should be crisp, and hot, not raw and warm - and the cashews were dried out, rather than coated with the sauce. My wife's sweet and sour fried pork balls were gristly, and the sweet and sour sauce had no subtlety of flavour whatsoever. Our first choice of food was unavailable said to be due to load shedding, likewise our first choice of wine Leopard's Leap - who make good wines. The wine offered instead Two Oceans was drinkable but had no character whatsoever. The atmosphere is typical for an open space in a mall, echos and noise from passers-by, but far from ideal for a meal. Were the food good it might, just, be acceptable. The place does appear clean and well-maintained.

The service at this place is extremely friendly. I can't remember the name of the person who was helping me, but he was such a friendly waiter... But that's as good as it gets. This is probably the most meh sushi I have ever tasted in my life. It isn't bad, but, honestly, it isn't great either. I had 100% intentions of going to the buffet, as I usually do. However, they don't offer sashimi as part of their buffet. Yes, you read that right. NO SASHIMI. Not a limited amount, just none. Honestly, that just defeats the entire purpose of a buffet. So, I simply opted for a platter. The sweet and sour sauce was really nice. Overall nice experience, meh sushi.

I adore this restaurant so much! Since I've been going there for years, the service has been the best I've ever experienced. When I arrive with friends or family, Carlos and his coworkers always recognise me. They go above and beyond to ensure that we are always content, relaxed, and happy to have a little conversation about life. Carlos is genuinely such a joyful person, and like any business, there will be a few things that aren't entirely to our liking. However, Best Asia makes effort to address these requirements and improve any less-than-ideal experiences. We LOVE Best Asia! Their Staff and their Sushi :

Love the sushi here. I like that there is lots of space for customers to sit as they have an eating area in front of the restaurant. The customer service is fantastic. I'd like to give a special thanks to Carlos. He always welcomes my girlfriend and I with such warmth and friendliness, always willing to give us the best sushi experience. Would definitely recommend this sushi joint.

I have been going to this specific place for the past 2 years. I have had takeaways, sushi buffet and Chinese meals. Absolutely love it, the staff is amazing. Norman has helped us the most and he always has a positive attitude. The rest I unfortunately don't know by name yet but they just as amazing! I refuse to have a sushi date anywhere else but here. The place is always clean and the kitchen staff are always neat and hygienic when busy. Prices are worth it in my opinion since I'm able to eat quite a bit.
