Betshan is the seminary of the Evangelical Reformed Church. It offers a two year course for people who just want to boost their personal life and knowledge of Scripture, and a 5 year course of which 4 years are academic and one year is a practical year for those students who want to be ordained as a preacher. The beautiful buildings and residences have a rustic feel to it and is built on a lovely plot [it used to be a wedding venue]. The course material is excellent and the lecturers are pleasant and know their subjects very well. There are different facilities such as a swimming pool and a small gym. The food is good and the fees for both the res and the courses are ridiculously low. Betshan is also available as a venue for functions such as weddings etc.

The course that are on offer are the spiritual worker with is a two year course and the five year course is to become a ordained reverent. The classes are in Afrikaans. The students stay on campus with their families. The plot was a former wedding venue with the most beautiful houses and campus.
