Nkwe

We visted Nkwe on a Monday afternoon and while we were the only day visitors we felt incredibly safe. We were very excited to find their well marked hiking trail, it is appears to have a few different routes, however, they don't seem to have a map available and there is no indication on the length of the hike. It is well worth the time and isn't too difficult, there is a decent amount of climbing over or around boulders.

This is an fantastic place for a picnic or staying the weekend. Very clean, lost of braai areas and picnic spots under the trees. We stayed in one of the chalets. It was fully equipped, clean and private. We really enjoyed the piece and quiet.

Quite, peaceful and amazing place for people looking to just relax and have a good time with family.

Fantastic day getaway. Braai area's could do with some renovating as well as maybe some better guidance on where and how to jump.

Such a nice and relaxing place, been there a couple of times, only problem today was the students who played loud music when there is a rule of NO MUSIC, even though they were told by management to switch it off.

We went camping: Stands are medium sized, small braai with a few fresh water taps scattered throughout the area. We had a power point. No stands are specifically allocated, works on a first come first serve basis. The Ablutions were spotless, constantly beeing cleaned. The campsites are fenced off, stopping day visitors from wandering through. Campsites are nice and quite, complete opposite to the picnick/waterfall area. Although the picnick are was extremely busy with day visitors, it was reasonably clean afterwards. Would reccomend for a quick getaway.

Family friendly resort close to Pretoria city. Beautiful views, excellent for hiking and / or swimming.

Absolutely loved camping here!!!!! Will definitely camp here again and will also recommend this place to family and friends! Thank you for the service and well upkeep of the grounds and ablution facilities!
