Great experiences all round as a buyer especially finding rare, out-of-print books that nobody else had, and as a seller connecting with communities of people that share my interests. I can definitely recommend Bob Shop!
I bought a laptop there, it came it thn it worked for only 2 days than it started to switch off on its own for 1 day straight. We returned it for exchange of another laptop buy the seller later decided to keep quite. I went to the police and he agreed to refund me back R3000 as I paid R4000 but so far he only paid R500 it's been 6 4 months now he has paid the rest of the money. When u contact bidorbuy thy tell u there is nothing thy can do
Probably the worst experience buying on line I ever had. 100% disappointing.
Waiting for delivery, 2nd week now. Customer service is non-existent here, you email etc...no response. Never buying here again!
The don’t care about customer service. When you got a problem with their platform and send them a query they ignore you. Their app is terrible. If the merchant don’t fulfil the order and you ask for their intervention they ignore you. They’d customer service is terrible, or rather there’s no customer service from them.
Thank you Amir Yaqoob's for your excellent customer service and prompt assistance in answering my "refund" question. Using bidorbuy for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised by the after-sales support.
I am Black listed by BidorBuy for refusing to pay for a gem certificate R650 for a non-gemstone moissonite ring moissonite is not a natural stone after being offered a special of R1000 for the 925 silver ring with the stone. Nothing but a scam from Durban and BidorBuy are backing the scammers. PUBLIC beware not to fall into this Zrtronics trap. With a name such as Zrtronics the company should not be allowed to sell gemstones.
Previously Bid or Buy. Love it, because shipping charges are about R30! Beats Takealot at the moment!
Poor customer service, lack of investment on the platform for a number of years, and lacks detailed reviews of SNC and reversals thereof.
About 6 weeks ago I purchased a book, inadvertantly I left the reference# of a previous deal on the payment. When I realised this, I made another payment as I really wanted the book and alerted BOB of the dilemma. No reply or response. I then happened to chat to a consultant on the 'live help' regarding this issue, gave him the ticket# of my enquiry, but then the signal died and I lost contact, still no response or reply. The sellers that I have dealt with have been great, no problems, and if there was a hitch, it got sorted asap. Today I won a bid, I have paid requested amount MINUS the monies that they have not refunded or credited, so I wait to see how this is going to pan out.... Happy to say that after chatting to a consultant online and then on the phone, we managed to get things sorted and will change my rating to 3 stars, up from 2.
