Usually great service here but today I got terrible treatment. Even though I was next in the queue, the cashier opted to ignore me and assist a cantankerous man who had just walked up. She then left the till to show him products elsewhere in the store, leaving me waiting. When I protested, she told me I could wait; then took her time as if to taunt me. Zero apology or remorse. It was deliberate treatment. Cigarette counter, 09h45 5 June 2023. Thanks to the other staff who were friendly and assisted me efficiently.

Great to waste time before a flight. I just have one question this shop is supposed to be duty free but some items cost over twice the regular price
This is a nice store if you want tobtake back some of the fantastic wines South Africa has to offer. Forbthe smokers, you will get cigarettes a lot cheaper here than in the UK or Europe so you might want to stock up.

I went by the shop to purchase 2 Chanel foundations on Saturday. To my Horror when I opened one of them upon arriving at my destination it was empty. This was obviously a previous sample that was put back in a package for sale. This is completely unacceptable as there is no way any customer can return a product once they have left the country.
This operation actually closes at 10:00 pm, contrary to their website publication of 12:00 am. We sautéed down at 10:45 to make our alcohol purchases going to a very expensive country and were told sorry… since COVID they close early, and have forgotten to update their website. Not cool at all.
Came in to OR Tambo shop on way back to Australia on 25th May, went specifically to look for perfume for my partner and happy to spend up to R5000 on product. Two 'sales assistants' were chatting between themselves . Zero interest in helping a customer.DISGUSTING SERVICE
I bought EDP from the ORT shop, turned out to be a diluted copy. The bottle and the packaging is the same. Identical with original package. The tester on the shelf was original, the sealed bottle I got was a FAKE! The fragrance doesn't last an 1, its not even as strong. Be very careful with this shop.
