Shocking service. Stay very far away. They do not care for their customers and their businesses. Our business fibre line was down for 7 DAYS, for an SME this is not acceptable. It landed up costing 1000's of rands using mobile data. We made at least 20+ phone calls to get someone here and when they arrived it was fixed within 5 minutes. Always blaming someone else down the line. I'd recommend finding another company for your fibre needs.
Bitcos services are absolutely shocking stay as far away as possible from them!!! They don't comply with their own contracts. There is clearly no communication between their departments. We are paying for equipment we don't even have. Their customer service is just NON Existent!!! I cant believe a company like this is even still running they are absolutely pathetic!!!!! ! star for them is even to much!
Absolutely useless, issues upon issues. My company is Internet based and loosing money daily, we are down just about every 2 days. They have the audacity to ask what is our backup plan? That is shocking! Why do I pay for your services if I need a backup plan, then I might as well not have used your services in the first place. Takes 2-3 days to resolve a service ticket and in the meantime we are without Internet!! Really pathetic!!
Bitco has truly exceeded my expectations. Their customer service has been outstanding. Whenever I've needed to reach out for technical support, a knowledgeable representative promptly answers the phone and provides valuable assistance. In fact, during my recent call to report a line issue, they had already proactively logged the incident internally before I could even connect, and swiftly escalated it with DFA. I am thoroughly impressed with their efficiency and dedication to resolving issues promptly. Bitco has definitely turned things around for the better
if you have a problem with these guys you are on your own. their customer service is terrible waiting for 2 days for a solution we can make calls but no incoming calls are accepted it says line does not exist REF: BIT529914 update 2023/04/14 still no solution to this issue as yet. same excuse they will check with the engineers and get back to you update 2023/04/20 still no solution to this issue as yet. they closed the ticket on their own with the issue being unresolved.
Stay away from these guys. My company is a loyal customer of theirs with multiple sites internet connections and VOIP telephony system provided by Bitco. Recently our gigabit fibre line has been problematic for 2 weeks and completely down for 1 week now. Meaning we have lost 4 days of business at our busiest tie of the year. For one they say we will call you back with feedback, but that never seems to happen and two i have asked for an alternative option multiple times now, in the case we have had downtime for so long, they should be able to give us alternative options, but this too never seems to happen. Let this be a fair warning. I have never worked with such a useless ISP, who couldn't care less about their customers of over 5 years.
Terrible service. Customer support i ls bad. The tech crew that comes out smells and doesn't do the work neatly. They left wites hanging out of the roof. Network is really terrible its so slow.
Looking at the recent reviews , I am not the only one experiencing an issue - This company together with MetroFiber is the worst combo ever !! The last 4 weeks we have been having issue's - Network is up and then - I Have in the last 4 Weeks spent over R 600.00 in airtime bills trying to get an update out of these people - How many times was I called back ? ZERO! The whole long weekend I had intermittent issues , again called and called with the same brainwashed response " we will log and get back to you " , I never got a call back - DO NOT , I REPEAT , DO NOT SIGN WITH THESE PEOPLE
49 days to get a credit passed with their "punitive SLA" on a corporate line. Its a begging session and they make it extremely hard. The accounts department's bar is set very very low.. We have had two catastrophic outages of more than 10 hours since joining Bitco, what they call corporate enterprise grade fibre. There is ZERO apology for downtime. Their Montague Gardens switches in Cape Town don't have redundancy and hence a 12 hour downtime is nothing this company is embarrassed about. They literally did not know the entire Montague Gardens node was down until we called them. EDIT: I have increased our review to 3 stars from 1. Our Account manager Roanne Subban is a true professional and turns around every bad situation. We just wish she could head up the NOC and Accounts Department. Thanks to her and Chrystal Singh we have hope that all is not lost. Thank you to you both for turning around a soured relationship.
Worst service provider ever. Zero service and clueless staff all looking to pass the buck. This company is a rip off. We have never got what we were paying for even after multiple calls to rectify. Rather look at other fibre service providers.
