Bloom is an absolute hidden gem that needs to be discovered by everyone! Her creations and flavour combinations are second to none. I ordered caramel cupcakes with vanilla piped rose buttercream. First of all, I received a second to none service from Tarquin. She was very kind and attentive to detail on her work. We had those cupcakes as puddings after main course today. Everyone loved it! They are divine! For me, I’ve been searching for the patisserie that makes a proper buttercream for quite a long time I’m personally obsessed with Swiss, French or Italian meringue buttercream, because they are buttery and smooth as silk!. The search is over! Tarquin made simply the best Italian meringue buttercream and I am over the moon. Will definitely recommend this patisserie to anyone who love proper, creative and quality cakes and Tarquin, you will have me as your loyal customer for a long time.

One of the best experiences I have ever had when placing an order for a cake for my wifes 40th Birthday. After trying numerous places in Cape Town and so many were unable to create what i had in mind or deliver on the specific date and time but Bloom Patisserie delivered and exceeded my expectations. Tarquin took all my requirements right down to every last detail and never said anything was too difficult or too much. She gave me options to choose from and also gave suggestions but left the decision to me. I supplied a picture and she recreated and made it look even better with customised toppers with my wife's name. The size and taste of the cake was also a surprise as we never expected it to be so huge and taste so delicious with the chocolate ganache filling. Definitely value for money. Perfectly and professionally presented and delivered with ribbons and bows. Thank you Tarquin and hope your business flourishes as you are really talented.
Tarquin made lovely cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday. They were super tasty and she was very accommodating to my requests for a sugar free/low sugar option for my daughter. I would definitely recommend her services.
I had a specific vision in mind for my High Tea, with gorgeous nature-inspired cupcakes and dipped strawberries in subtle, muted pinks, creams and green hues. What I got was the absolutely perfect interpretation, such beautiful artistry and so so deliciously scrumptious! I have no hesitation to recommend Bloom; she’ll bring your special moments to life.
