Bo Kamer Guesthouse

I have never experienced trauma and racism like at this place. We have booked and paid for 4 rooms about three weeks ago for the 14&15 April.On our arrival some guy approached us shouting and pushing us telling us to leave his property cause we skipped a stop sign next to his guest house. With arrogance he said he’s refunding us our money then we will see what to do.Word of advice please don’t ever book at this place cause you will be treated like trash if you are black. We were rescued by 44On Ennis with their 5 star service. Keep it up 44On Ennis

Wow. Really enjoyed it here. Very welcome feeling. The owners goes out of their way to make life easy for you away from home and make it your own home. Breakfast was on time. Lunch packs sufficient and the suppers super delicious. Would recommend Bo Kamer Guesthouse to anyone. Was always sceptic over quetshouses due to pass experiences, but this was totally enjoyable. Many thanks to the staff at Bo Kamer. Well done.

What a Kak reception we received here.... We booked about 4 rooms 3 weeks ago and paid for our rooms, only to be chased out like dogs by the owner when we drove in to check-in... So the owner had a problem with us because we skipped a stop sign down the street and he was behind us. the minute we got to the guesthouse he was on our case and shouting and pushing us arround - but i suspect that it's because we were black. For the record, out 6 people in the bus that we were driving, 2 had beers and not drunk to say one was drunk @ past 14h00 to 15h00 its exaggerating the driver was sober together with the two other occupants - his behavior just showed the extend which the owner hates black.. He basically told us that he doesn't allow alcohol at his guesthouse like what rule is that?. The Owner is definetely, disrespectful, rude, racist and has a sticking attitude, there's no way I'll recommend this place. if anyone is looking or a place to stay please consider 44 on Ennis, Ennis Street, Ermelo

Very noisy as it is on the main road.. Very disorganized booking system as we pre booked at living waters and pre paid yet we were told there was no space when we arrived. I believe it's a father and son operation.. The female at Bo kamer reception very unfriendly .

This place is being ran by racist people.. were chased out of the establishment like dogs, because we are black. I wouldn't recommended this place to anyone.

Horrible experience, the owners were extremely racist towards us before we could even check in, the owner took his frustration of on us and was unnecessarily rude, wouldn't recommend anyone to stay at such a place Basically the owner was a KarenRooms: 1/5

Had a lovely business stay over here. Room was not bad, and to my surprise there was a working heater AND a heated blanket in the room, as the weather was very cold at the time. Wifi and most popular dstv channels, and the breakfast was superb. Owners are friendly and accomodating. Will definitely stay here again.Rooms: 4/5

Stay here, best value for money and the owner goes out of his way to help out. The cleanliness of the rooms is immaculate. The bathrooms are cleaner than most luxury chain hotels and the rooms have a comfortable and classic feel. If you are passing through Ermelo, make a stop here and enjoy the break in the large green area available.

Lovely stay. Well priced. Here's the but- early check in before 14h00 will set you back R250! Which we didn't know and we were 30 minutes early so we had to do a coffee run first...

An absolutely stunning place, professional and friendly. Very neat and in a great area, felt very safe. Will definitely recommend it to anyone needing to stay over! The food is also top quality!!!
