This is one of the greatest stores, it offers a lot from Bulk buying to single items. The parking bay is good has lot of security in a way makes you feel safe about your car. My personal opinion is that you find everything you want at Makro. Bit far from transportation for pedestrians.
I want to compliment the management and customer service of this particular store on their outstanding dedication to customer satisfaction. The DEFY washing machine that I bought there 2 1/2 years ago began to develop problems with the start button. Fortunately the appliance came with a 3 year repair warranty from Makro and after contacting their customer support department, technicians from DEFY were promptly despatched to attend to the issue. A new part was ordered and after 2 weeks the technicians arrived to fit it. I am extremely satisfied with the level of service that I received, as they went above and beyond. They have exceeded my expectations and they come highly recommended as they are always eager to satisfy the customers' needs. I am immensely grateful for their friendly and professional support.
Just like another Makro but a nice feature, and am not sure if other Makro's also have it, but they have an express checkout. Only problem is that seems to be a gathering place for the staff. i was the only one there for 2 check out points and had to wait for a good few minutes for them to finish their gathering even though i was clearly visible to both tellers.
Online order. Deliberately delivered a broken chair and packed it right at the bottom of the pack. Been weeks back and forth trying to get a replacement. They schedule deliveries on certain days and then simply don't pitch. Still waiting and still don't have the replacement chair.
All kinds of things are available from groceries to clothes. Prices are also very reasonable than any other places. Highly recommend to all.
My Go To Makro Store Almost Everything You Could Possibly Need Under One Roof Loads Of Parking More 4 Less Promotions Toiletries, Groceries, Sweets, Chocolates, Frozen Foods, Fresh Produce, DIY Tools And Equipment, Televisions, Fridges, Washing Machines, Outdoor Gear, Clothing And Your Daily Essentials
I'm not normally one to complain but ordered a gift 26th November 2022 still not delivered. Endless back and forth with their courier service and still not delivered. They state this on website "Avoid disappointment and order by 19 December to receive your order before Christmas, or visit our stores for last minute shopping" Beat this by far and they still dissapoint. If takealot had these items they would have got the business. I don't see makro competing in the online space competitively any time soon. Christmas gift won't arrive in time at this rate.
From the parking lot to entryway and inside...the place is well maintained.. anything you may need makro is the store got you..head out there and experience the vibe...they make sure you feel like you their only customer..they quick to offer help when you wonder around looking for essentials. Work out junkies will find the store to be the place to go for work out equipments..highly recommended
If I could give a zero rating to Makro Carnival, I would. We bought a patio set for R16,999, after being told they had 2 in stock was out of stock online. About 2 hours later the sales person phones us to say they now don't have stock and will send us the set on the floor which we declined as we don't want the demo unit for that price. He advised to come to the store for a refund. The refund...... What a disaster. Makro you need to look at this issue as we were told the original slip went missing so they tried to find it without success. Within 24 hours our slip and delivery invoice gone missing. To worsen this, the manager advised that they can't refund us on the cheque card we paid with only if we paid by credit card BUT they'll give a gift card to the value.... The sales person even with great excitement said we can buy anything in the store. Like really we came and paid R17k for a patio set not to spend it on other stuff. Eventually after a big fight and the manager nowhere in sight, they said they'll refund in cash. Putting us at risk leaving the store with R17k cash, no bag no nothing, a bunch of notes. This is so ridiculous, we expected better customer service and the manager is so pathetic. Instead of solving the problem he dissappears and can't deal with situation.
Love it, good service and great variety of tools and general consumer products. The staff is very helpful there is also a clothing section. Queues are generally short. Parking is free.
