Nothing like penguins to make a girl happy! Beautiful day. It was a bit too busy and the international tourists don't give other people time to observe the penguins on the viewing decks. The beach section was lovely but a bit of a scramble to get over the boulders and if it is high tide definitely going to get wet. Great to see South African prices, but more pleasant to visit when it isn't festive season
Awesome place and great experience. Nice little walks and view points and the ocean looked great the day we went. A bit cold but that was expected. Definitely recommended to go early as the crowds were in force. A beautiful place to swim and just check out nature at its best. This was the best outing to start off 2022. Beautiful beach and weather. The atmosphere of the other beach goers was pleasant and considerate. This was the receipe for a relaxing time spent together by all present. Our group had so much fun together as it was back to work on Monday. Definitely a great place to enjoy time with family and friends. The penguins just added to the outing with Mother nature. Make an effort to enjoy your day at Boulders Beach.
Swim with penguins! Boulders beach is the best little beach ever! Extremely intimate as the penguins come first! When it's summer it's protected by the wind and is the perfect day out. Learn to share your surroundings with the penguins and always give them right of way! Don't feed them! There is an entrance fee, but it's worth it! Get there super early as you can because it feels up quickly! Bliss!
Very nice place with penguins everywhere! I have the experience to watch them closely for the first time! Had bought so many souvenirs from their shop and shops nearby. I recommend visiting the place at least once. Watch out! There could be a runaway under your car!
A great place to go and see the penguins! I’ve been coming here since I was a child and it’s always a good time. You get to walk along the boardwalk and take in the view of the coast and ocean along with the penguins and the occasional dassie. There are information boards along the way and lookout spots perfectly placed. This is a great family outing and an awesome experience for locals and tourists. Prices are also very reasonable for locals. Will definitely be back again, would highly recommend.
Excellent venue to enjoy the view of the magnificent Sudafricane penguins, they are quite rare and under extinction risk. We all need to protect their habitat and preserve the beach from pollution and loud . The view of these lovable animals is pretty easy and we'll organized, the staff is absolutely kind and helpful. Good ice cream shop on the way .
Beautiful Beach. Went at a very busy and popular time December. Crowded with lots of people wanting to see the beautiful penguins. You are able to taka a stroll on the walkway and possibly spot penguins or you can pay fees differ for locals and International visitors and enter at the Table Mountains National Park entrance, to have an up-close view. You can go for a swim and relax under your beach umbrella. There are some stalls to purchase memorabilia. There are also restaurants and B&Bs in close proximity.
Definitely the place you want to go to see penguins in their beachside habitat. The park is quite small and takes about an hour to see everything there is to see here. Also… don’t touch the penguins or let your kids touch them. I saw a kid get pecked when a parent let their kid reach past the fence to try to touch on the the birds… be respectful and stay safe.
Out of world experience. Its not everyday you come across place like this. Very calm and beautiful, natural scenic. Only place where you can see penguins. Very well maintained. Beaches are very clean like crystal. Nearly 1.5 hour drive from Capetown and is amongst the must visit places of capetown.
