I have lived all over the country and I can attest, with absolutely certainty, that Broadacres Superspar is not only THE best Spar in the country, but probably the best supermarket in the country. From the substantial deli to the bakery, this place is so well managed. The sheer variety of goods is astounding, from local to imported. There is no deli like this, so much so that the quality of the food sends us back here rather than eating out at a restaurant. The quality and freshness of items at this rather vast deli is nothing short of phenomenal, and the bakery is the equivalent of a large private bakery. It is so well run, and the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful. This is the yardstick against which ALL supermarkets should be measured.
SUPERSPAR is a foodie shopper's paradise. Anything you would want in the line of food is on an International scale like Harrods of London. Starting with beautiful flowers, plants, lifelike bunches of flowers, beautiful artifacts like exquisite lamps, wall hanging, pottery etc, to the array of ready made meals, takeaways, cheese, pasta, any cold meats you could imagine, imported jams, preserves, biscuits, chocolates, tinned foods, meat, freshest vegetables and fruit is available. Even a "Conversations" Coffee shop for a light meal or coffee and cake. It is a real treat to wander in and stay for an hour or two. Best Food Store I have been to in South Africa!

It is situated in the beautiful Broadacres open parking shopping complex. The Spar's layout is functional and easy to navigate. You can see from a distance all the different sections. It has the greatest variety catering for most shoppers with its great international section testimony with that. It caters for Jewish pastries to local delights. The large flower section in the entrance makes you feel welcome and has a fresh feel to it. It has a large wine selection. You will find all your favorites in the bakery section, there is a large meat section and for the regular shopper it also has everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to all the fmcg available. A pleasant frozen shopping experience with ample parking. This Spar delivers much more than your average local Spar.
This Spar is really clean and the ready made food taste so good, this is the place I get good homely food when I don't feel like cooking. Thanks to everyone who prepares food there. Their bakery section is amazing, you can get a lot of yummy cakes and more. The cashiers are really nice and helpful.
Things are getting expensive and smaller. It's not the fault of the store. Its the greedy government. Xmas lunch wonderful as normal always wonderful service. But now you have to have another card for discounts
What a lovely store. The owners/managers put so much care into this store and it shows. From the vast selection of groceries available to their "home" ideas selection in the front of the store, to their variety of products and brands to suit different lifestyles, this shop is in my opinion the Spar that all the other Spars want to be when they grow up. The store layout is well utilised for the most part, however if it is full one may struggle for space especially in the front part of the shop. The bakery offers some of the best treats I've ever had the pleasure of tasting and wow, the attention to detail can leave one drooling. A few more random observations: Sushi: freshly prepared daily by a professional. Deli section: much choice, local and international selections, some items considerably higher priced than others. Meat section: Variety of fresh cuts. Moderately more expensive than other lead suppliers in the greater Fourways area. Veg section: Most fresh produce is costly here. One will find better prices and the same or better quality supporting their local farmer. Staff: friendly and welcoming. Management always nearby. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.
We decided to take it easy this Christmas, so we ordered a full meal from the Spar Broadacres From the packaging to the planning and then to the food.. Perfect. Well done guys!!!! Fantastic meal :
Exceptional service yesterday as I was staring at the baking items and couldn’t find what I needed for a recipe a friendly staff member and manager rushed up to me to assist and found my item for my baking. This Spar has enough staff at the tills so you don’t wait in long queues. Great variety of stock and wonderful clean environment. Thank you so much for the most pleasant shopping experience.
Best Spar by far. Highest Quality fruits and home made foods. Superb restaurants to relax too, next to the man made pond
Place runs a tight ship . Lekker to see . Nice range of imports
