"I am a clinical psychologist in full-time private practice and work with older adolescents, adults and couples.I work primarily from a 'psychodynamic perspective,' meaning that I am inclined to emphasize the influence of one’s childhood – as well as their on-going relational experiences – as being central to how a person functions in the present day. The therapy is geared towards identifying and then ultimately changing how these formative experiences have affected us, thus striving for a greater sense of personal freedom and autonomy.I am trained to work with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, bipolar, psychosis, personality issues, substance abuse, as well as issues surrounding one's sexuality, self-esteem and identity."
