I had one of the most pleasant stays at this hospital, from reception staff, nursing team and treating doctors - everyone was kind. The hospital was clean at all times and the food was nice . Definitely felt like a hope away from home. Thank you nurse Mthethwa, Maleka, Mr Noxolo, Sister Gladys, Dr Liphapang and Dr Mohale only to name the few I can remember from the top of my head

This is for Busamed Retail Pharmacy - thank you so much, you literally saved my life! I was on the way to Umdloti and realised that I had my insulin cartridge but had left my insulin pen at home - the pharmacist was so helpful and friendly, and assisted me with an insulin pen - literally saving my life! Thank you again!
My stay was very pleasant, I'll forever be grateful, God bless the maternity ward staff & the Gynecologist Dr L.
This is one of the worst hospitals ever. Zero compassion for families in distress. My father was in ICU where one of the patients was allowed multiple visitors who made alot of noise and it was allowed by the staff. My mother was then admitted to ICU yesterday and when I enquired if I could come and see her I was told no I must come in visiting hours the next day. I don't stay near Harrismith and find their lack of compassion unacceptable. I will never recommend this hospital to anyone. You don't only deal with patients but heartbroken families too. Pathetic. Update Still no contact from management after this review being up for more than a week. Proving my point.
If there was a 0 star rating I would have chosen it, but now I had to rate it by the very lowest rate because I had a very bad experience with the hospital I don't think I'll ever recommend anyone to go there, my mother was admitted there, I regret everyday for taking her to that hospital the service is very very poor, I did not see any specialist on board but it is a private hospital, actually what are we paying for? I'm so so angry with that hospital I don't wanna lie. I hate it, in a short explanation.
Very friendly and competent staff. From the receptionist Lindie that did the admission to the doctor that treated my daughter, the nurse in the emergency room, Angel that came for the blood samples, the pharmacist, the coffee shop lady, everyone. Helped us while we came on holiday in Jagersrust fast and efficient. Well done team God bless you!!
My experience was amazing all thanks to Dr Liphapang and the maternity ward staff not forgetting the lady who made sure I always had tea even in the middle of the night if I could I'd go back every year... They were amazing
Currently in Busamed Harrismith. Nursing staff are great. it's just a pity that the kitchen is such a let down, breakfast during the first couple of days arrived at 8, then all of a sudden at 10? Portions for lunch and dinner also beconing smaller everyday, making me wonder if I should not just order food for delivery from outside or its ok to be starved slowly while recovering from surgery? Supplement supposed to be given to me as per doctor and dietician in the afternoon and morning I have to ask for at night? For a private hospital I would expect better, it's after all not a cheap stay!
This is by far the worst private hospital I've come across. Mind you I'm not the only person who shares this opinion. It's a private hospital for heaven sake but I had to bring by dad toilet paper and some medication to my dad, I couldn't I understand how some of this medication were not available at the hospital. When my father was feeling uncomfortable, I had to call the nurses to go check on him, because he was in pain and couldn't reach for the bell and when I call the hospital some would respond with attitude. People kept advicing us to take him to hoogland In bethlehem, and when he asked his doctor, I quote" they don't acceptt people from harrismith, we have out own hospital". The hospital did even have peeing buckets, there was a shortage of of them, to how, I don't know, since it's a private and we expected the best car. Most people warned us, that if you go to that hospital, especially if you have underlying conditions, you will not come back alive. I the face it the benefit of the doubt, because I know my father is strong and a survivor. I lost a father due to what I feel was negligence. But I doubt you would understand because you not the ones that lost a family member. Continue with the poor service quality, majority of people in harrismith a black and had similar experience already three in busamed, majority of close family members were begging us to not take him there, because most people don't come back, oh by it turned out true, by dad getting better I don't know what your . one day if I wanna die, I definitely coming there so you guys can finish me off I well, I was not fighting, I was was just givit yout since it's private, and people pay a lot of money per hospital.
