Highly Recommended, In April this year my son was bitten by a puff adder. He was admitted to your hospital 2hrs after the initial bite. My wife and I raced from Pretoria to get to him, the 4 longest days of our lives. The staff of this facility are amazing, from the receptionist who called me to the ward nurses who looked after my son. The doctors and the ICU staff who administered the anti venom, the constant attention and the manner in which these professionals treated not only my son but my wife was brilliant. Thank you for all your hours of dedication and service. If it was not for you he would have lost his leg, possibly his life. God bless you all.
In my opinion, this is no hospital where one receives medical care, it is rather a hotel receiving holiday services. It is for sure one of the best managed medical facilities overall. With me residing in Sasolburg, I will gladly travel to Bethlehem again and I highly recommend the whole Vaal Triangle community to do the same!!
Went to Hoogland Emergency Care after experiencing abdominal pain and bleeding after being 5 weeks pregnant. Treated by Dr Otto and Nurse Venter, what a great experience in the middle of the heartache of suffering a miscarriage. Thank you for treating myself, my husband and mother with so much care. Highly recommended, thanks again!
I Honestly felt like I was at a public hospital, starting from the receptionist named Vicki she was very harsh and rude to me forcing me to speak louder when I told her I am too weak to speak louder. I was discharged still feeling unwell and when I asked if there’s anything that they can give me while I am still waiting for the pharmacies to open in the morning, they said there’s nothing they could do to help I should wait for morning and go to the pharmacy with that prescription and I was very weak I was continuously vomiting and had diarrhoea they didn’t care. All in all for the first time being in hospital that was my worst experience. I’ll never recommend anyone to go there!
Took my daughter to casualty last week and received such incredible service. The receptionist, doctor, sonographer, orthotist and prosthetist were all very caring and accommodating. By far one of the very best casualty experiences I've had in a very long time. Well done to all involved and please keep it up. We need more of this compassion and dedication in the medical industry in our country.
Really horrible, apparently no one can read your file, but tell you how bad your skin graft looks after 6 weeks and sends you home while you are a diabetic as well and that was actually why you were admitted because of your sugar spiking up and down. I still now have 2 problems, my diabetes not being taken care of and a skin graft that didn't take, no one gave me any help or advice but I need to pay the bills. If less than one star was possible, I would choose that due to no one doing their jobs and being friendly or helpful.
I had my first baby on Tuesday and all I would like to say to Mediclinic and all the staff is thank you! From the start I received friendly services, everyone made me feel comfortable and safe although I was very scared and unsure. My room was very clean and tidy, the food was excellent, assistance and help with my newborn was available and I learned a lot from all the staff. I have much more to say but bottom line is that my overall experience was excellent and I felt at home at all times. Thank you to everyone that made this journey a nice experience to remember, your friendly faces and caring hearts will be remembered
Worst experience ever as a first time mom. I would not recommend mediclinic neonatal care to anyone. The nurses are so rude, no passion for their job, I was belittled many times and was even told by one of the nurses that I must not come too often to visit my child. This is uncalled for
Excellent hospital with top doctors and nurses. The food is great and everyone is friendly & helpful. If you want to be well cared for, this is the place to go !
It is a shame what has happened to the medical industry Mediclinic Bethlehem. My daughter went to casualty this afternoon and got assisted after only 30 minutes. Later that night we went back as the medicine was not working. My daugter was really not feeling well. Having no bed for her she had to lie down on the floor while they waited to be assisted as she could not sit up. After another man asked the reception to please help my daughter he was told that they only have one docter and that they just had to wait. You in the medical industry complain when you have to wait in an ATM line or the line at the supermarket but when we come to you for assistance we get told to just wait....so please remember this in the future when you are in a line and I really hope that you guys from now on hit every line in the country.
