Our intention has been to capture a fresh spin on the traditional 'coffee shop' experience. This was such a lovely find! A family friend told us about this place and when we went to check it out we were met by the sweetest waitress, she was absolutely wonderful and paid special attention to my grandmother, making sure she is comfortable at all times. They have many yummy options on the menu, including vegetarian and vegan dishes as well. The place is well lit, with indoor and outdoor seating available, and the chef even comes out to see that everything is going well every now and again. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be returning when I visit JHB again. Vegetarian options: They have a few vegan and vegetarian dishes available to order on the menu as well as milk alternatives Kid-friendliness: There is a space outside where kids can run around and play while they wait for their food. Parking: It's located in Stoneridge shopping center so there is underground parking available as well as a huge parking lot
Heard amazing reviews so came to try this place out. I ordered a steak sandwich, which was very tasty! My hub had the Meatball Sub and enjoyed it too. A little on the pricey side though. After I ordered I saw there was a Lamb Shank Pasta on the special menu on the blackboard, which I have to come back to try! I’ll leave a more detailed review after my second visit. :
It may be true that some of the best places are found by accident. Went there for breakfast. Was fairly busy for a weekday morning. Atmosphere is great as it is a small cafe that looks and feels like a small cafe. The staff are amazing, friendly, attentive and don't overdo or underdo their service. The coffee was good but the part that makes me give it 5 stars is the food. We ordered the hot cake breakfast and the salmon sandwich. Both made amazingly well. Fantastic flavours and presentation fit for a more expensive place. Everything was so well made. Definitely a must go spot.
I had an amazing time. My friend took me out for breakfast, and I was happy. My stomach could not stop dancing. They get so busy, so the waiters don't really check on their tables often, but they offer great service.Food: 5/5

The restaurant is situated at Stongridge. It has lovely inside and outside seating, unfortunately we went during lunch and they were rather busy, we got a table outside which was okay until the rain got heavy. They have a lot of daily specials or you can just order from the menu. We ordered a chicken and beef wrap. The food was good. Nothing really stood out for me personally. Their prices are a little expensive but I would like to try some other things from their menu next time.
A restaurant that's stood the test of time. I remember when Café Billi Bi first opened, it was this small little cafe on the corner of one section of eateries at Stoneridge Shopping Center. They have managed to maintain and even grow over the years. The food has even evolved so much from when it was just this corner cafe thanks to Chef Clifford. It also extends to outside seating now so there is some more space to increase the number of patrons they can service. There is the normal menu and then daily specials on a board that change based on the ingredients they have. We ended up ordering just a usual toasted Bacon and Egg, and being adventurous we also took the Black Pasta with cream, Calamari and Prawns. I couldn't leave without having a Cappuccino with cream which was really good. The chips with the sandwhich were so good I was dunking it in the pasta sauce The aroma from the pasta was amazing. The Calamari and Prawns were placed on the side of the bowl. Once you started turning and mixing the pasta with the sauce at the bottom and then spreading the Calamari and Prawns, it was so comforting. The joys of being single, I could add as much garlic as I wanted after I ate the pasta as it was served, and then decided to add some chilli and garlic which just elevated the flavour. We had to do takeaways as we couldn't finish our food. I was still tempted to get cake but maybe next time, either carrot or chocolate. You must give them a try if you are in the area. It's one of those places that you will always enjoy, and they are always busy. Thanks to Sandra and Bron for amazing service. This cafe works, because all the staff work as a team and you can see how dedicated they are for success!. So thank you, its refreshing to see a happy group of staff all helping one another. I'm a coffee lover, and they have by far the BEST CAPPICHINO it flavourful and doesn't taste milky, and the venue setting us absolutely beautiful.Food: 4/5
