Highly recommend the salmon breakfast. Simple but delicious. Cappuccinos are good too. Vibe is warm and cosy inside cold day place is almost always packed and it humms. I believe the evenings get somewhat festive with live bands. Great local establishment
We decided to visit Café Roux at the Noordhoek Farm Village for brunch and overall we had a good time. The restaurant was very busy, however we managed to find a nice big table for our group close to the big kids play area. They have a pretty big menu so you are guaranteed to find something you will enjoy. I had the Full Monty breakfast which really hit the spot and the other guests also really enjoyed their meals. It is good to note they also have a good kids menu available. Overall we had a good experience, however the service was a bit lack-lustre. Café Roux seems to be a popular spot and I saw some advertisements for live shows in the bathroom so if you are in the area maybe give them a google to see if they have anything going on for when you are planning to visit.
Went for a 3 course new years eve dinner. Great food but their beers are pretty overpriced. Friendly waiters and barmen, good selection of drinks, fairly fancy food as well and everything tastes quite fresh, which is definitely a win for me. They had live music which was quite fun and handed out a free glass of bubbles to everyone who booked the function. A lunch visit is also nice as the setting is very pretty in quiet little noordhoek. Would recommend
The food here is great and the staff are very friendly. Don't order coffee if it is busy, because you'll be waiting for it for a while. There is a great play area for kiddies and the toilets are clean and neat. Breakfast is served until 16:00.Food: 5/5

This is a Market vibe, super nice vibe around. The service very good,friendly, very fast. Something I really love is the Dog Friendly aspect, you can see different hairy fiends around kuiering too. The kids have a place to play and have some fun too. Definitely coming back!!Food: 5/5

It was the first time in many years I had been to Cafe Roux. I was delighted It hadn't lost any of its charm. Its lovely to sit under the trees and eat delicious food. Service was great too.Food: 5/5
There are not enough words to say about this piece of heaven. I could literally not choose as there were way too many items I wanted to taste. Pure artistry... I could sit and stare at those desserts for hrs and still not be able to figure out how it was made... Such welcoming friendliness from the staff.... But man oh man could I not just be there in the cnr watching these artists at work? What an amazing place... Please do get a croissant of some sorts... It will leave u at a loss for words
I had the best salad ever - amazing crispy butternut, two types of cheese, avo, rocket and an absolutely delicious dressing. My husband had a very impressive bacon and brie burger which he enjoyed immensely. I was able to have a glass of bubbly while my husband stuck to beer. The coffee was very good and I had a decadent slice of chocolate torte - absolutely wonderful. The service was excellent even though it was very busy. They even brought us blankets when the sun went down as it was pretty cold. I would recommend Cafe Roux to anyone looking for a good eating experience.
