A fabulous bakery that does a wide range of butter biscuits and beautiful birthday cakes.  They also have soft serve ice creams on weekends.

I have been trying to order a cake since last week. On four separate occasions I have called to follow up on the quote each time I am promised the quote within the hour. Your employees take messages and make promises but don't follow through and they seem to have a nonchalant attitude about service. I just got off the phone again where I have been holding for the past 4 minutes while they try locate a Manager however I could hear them having merry conversations in the background. To say I have received disgusting service from you would be an insult to the word "disgusting". You should be ashamed of yourself.

Thank you much for the beautiful Angry Birds cake made for my hubbie's birthday!  Our guests could not stop raving about the tasty cake! So rich, we had to go on diet the very next day!

I can recommended this bakery with confidence.   Their baked goods are top class. They make stunning birthday cakes.  I just love their chocolate and vanilla cakes.

The macaroons are hard and dont crumble in your mouth. It actually tastes more like a wafer. Very disappointing.

I ordered a chocolate cake for a birthday.  Cake was falling apart could not even  cut it. it was so soggy and  tasted bad couldn't eat it. Would not use them again. it was so embarrassing.

What an amazing bakery, what an amazing experience. The staff at Caked in Africa made my son's birthday super duper special. They created a magnificent Lion King cake - exactly what he wanted. The joy in his and his friends faces when they saw the cake was something I will hold in my heart forever. What a beautiful, delicious cake. Thank you to all the staff at Caked in Africa - you will definitely see us for all future celebrations.

I can really suggest this bakery to anyone looking for great value for money and delicious cakes for every occasion! I have been fortunate enough to try out a couple of memorable creations from this bakery. I can strongly suggest: Butter biscuits, scones, freshly baked Chicken & Mushroom pie. I Absolutely love their moist Chocolate cake slices.

I would just like to compliment the staff and management at Caked In Africa in Midrand.  I had a cake gifted to me for my birthday and the double layer purple and mauve cake I received  truly reflected my personality with the most delicate butter flies and hand made crystal flowers in various shades of pinks and purples.  The batter was light and fluffy and the filling was really delicious.  There was so much cake my guests could take enough home.  It was so beautiful I did not want to cut it.  Thankyou for taking the time to make a cake with such detail and care.  Kind Regards Natalie

Caked in Africa made my birthday so special!!!  I ordered a cake for my birthday and they had such a big variety for me to choose from.  Not only could I choose the flavour of the cake from atleast four or five different types of cake ranging from chiffon cake, chocolate cake, red velvet, black forest or carrot cake i could show them what I wanted my cake to look like. Well done Caked In Africa.  The cake was super moist and I was more than happy with the most beautiful cake ever.  You made my day so special. Thankyou for delivery on time.  I will definately use you for all my birthdays to come.  I have also had your biscuits and just love the delicious red velvet cup cakes.  Your staff are friendly and take the time to listen to my requests. Well done
