Istanbul Bakery launched last year is located at the beautiful Nizamiye Complex in Midrand and offers to its customers a delicious insight into Turkish Cuisine. Serving a large variety of delightful Turkish dishes to which there have been numerous commendations, the bakery has quickly risen to fame.
We at Istanbul Bakery strive to prepare, with great care and love, the best dishes possible. All our recipes follow traditional methods and are produced only with the finest ingredients including special flour, oil and free range eggs.
We serve a host of dishes ranging from scrumptious bread, bagels (simit in Turkish) and pastries to mouthwatering desserts to delicious milky tarts and chocolate puddings. We also offer our customers Turkish beverages that include the globally famous Turkish tea and coffee, a range of refreshing cool drinks and fresh juices are also available.
The bakery was planned years in advance and is a passionate project of Turkish businessman in South Africa, Levent Kilic, who has spent over 15 years in the country.
