Started filling up here lately. Can stack your points up and eventually get a rather cheap full tank of gas. The staff are friendly and the service is great

Pretty decent Caltex, bit tricky to get into with the roadworks out the front. Car wash is pretty good, coin operated vacuum cleaners works really well. Nice friendly lady behind the counter
Decent gas station, good Cafe next door. Countdown across the road n fruit and vege so central to plenty of things also. Just traffic can be the hassle to merge into again
So simple to get our large camper into is a real bonus. The main crew of lovely ladies do an amazing job and always super friendly - keep up the good work!
Recently, I was test-driving a car when it began running out of petrol. I managed to pull in to the Caltex and put some in. Then, to my dismay, the battery was flat, so I went to the counter to ask for a jump start. Two of the staff went out of their way to help me - the jumper pack was flat, so one even drove home to get a better set of jumper leads, then jump-started the car with their battery. This sort of extra-mile help was very much appreciated, and I'd give 6 stars if I could.
Just airing up the tires, reasonable food selection
I paid $18 for an executive car wash, I found it did not wash the dirt off the vehicle properly and did not even rinse off the soap suds!!! What I found most concerning is, the staff have no idea on the NZ consumer guarantees act. I was told I could go back through the car wash again and if it still did not wash the vehicle properly for the second time I would not be entitled to another wash or refund? I got my money back and then had to drive home and spend the next hour washing the vehicle and removing all the water stains on the paint work caused by the soap suds. This was a total waste of my time, I should have not wasted 15 minutes of my time at Caltex and then an extra half hour over and above what it would normally take to wash it. I suggest all staff and the owner of this service station read and learn the consumer guarantees act. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that they do not understand consumer law and are not trying to fob customers off due to their sub standard car wash. I certainly won’t be going there for fuel or another car wash again!
