Good place to get well priced camera equipment. They may not have everything you want but they have most things and are super helpful. Bookings around public holidays can be sticky but they can always make a plan if you make arrangements well ahead of time.
By far the best camera rental company in Joburg! What impressed me the most was their excellent customer service. I had issues on a big event where we needed some extra cameras and a video mixer at last minute notice. Glen personally came out to sort the issue out and even brought me lunch! I have used them for the past 3 years and they continue to provide excellent gear, at excellent prices and more importantly excellent support. Thanks Garry, Glen, Vic, John and team from the Filmpod crew.

Thanks a lot guys! You really helped me out in a pinch. The registration and handing over of the equipment went very smooth on short notice. The equipment worked perfectly and the prices were adequate. If I ever need to rent equipment in Joburg again I'll come back.
Glen managed to source me a Panasonic Battery Charger for Panasonic 4K CamCorder within 24 hours. It was a double when I received the charger as I noticed it to be a dual charger. NB: This is a Charger Manufactured by Panasonic, they are like hens teeth to get hold of. Glen thanks for coming to the rescue.
Cam A Lot service is amazing. I rented a 24-70 and within a few days I'm a new client my application was processed and the lens was ready to collect. Upon collection I walked in and out in the space of 5 minutes. The lens is also in PERFECT condition without even a speck of dust on it. Very well priced too! I will be using them in future!
I have never rented or hired equipment from a Big Rental House before. And I needed LIVE Streaming equipment really fast for a funeral and although I only managed to register for the profile online, on the day. They helped in fast tracking the process I went to collect the equipment and all Lockdown Restrictions and protocols were observed. The equipment was in a good condition and functioned well, and they took there time to test and check all the equipment; before we left with it The LIVE Stream went well and when we returned the equipment, they took their time to sanitize all the equipment. And that made me trust there equipment even more‍‍‍‍ All in all I had an amazing first time hire, and I am looking forward to working with them again
The application process takes a bit of time however besides that I'm happy about their services and the way they treat their clients. Definitely would recommend them and would rent here again.
Excellent service, communication and pricing. I had to book remotely from Durban and arrange a Photoshoot, equipment etc and their management team really hands on and showed great support in the process. Highly recommended.
If you Meet Gary you will come back again for Camalot Service. Excellent like you are their only customer. Weather you hire 1 simple gear or multi gears.
