Description

Cambanos and Son Agencies is a family business started by Jean and Dennis Cambanos in 1982. The company started as a small curio wholesaler working out of an office in Johannesburg town center. They offered customers something extra, personal service and the pledge that they would always make sure the customer was happy.

We now offer an exquisite selection of jewelry, including stunning Tanzanite collectors pieces, Diamond Jewelry and ethnic gold pieces from exclusive designers. We also trade in certified precious semi-precious gemstones, Diamonds and Tanzanite.

The business is now one of the biggest in South Africa, supplying the world with African art, curios and exquisite Jewelry. But the pledge remains the same “Make sure the customer is happy” and hope they eventually become friends. The business is still run by the family today.

Good place to shop in South Africa. They have all kind of stuff including ostrich egg, animal skin, original leather, stuffed animals, antique instruments, key chain and  fridge magnet etc. Cost is slightly on higher side but products here are authentic. Please check the items before you leave.

Very nice souvenir shop.  We were treated with respect and offered cold drinks or cappuccino.  The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful.  Prices are very reasonable compared to other souvenir shops.  Authentic, quality materials.

Supposedly a wholesaler of curio and souvenirs. They have a huge showroom with almost African item you can think of.  Prices are average retail but the selection is enormous.

For the best quality, pricing and Friendliest service for all African Curios and Diamonds.

oh god...  what a nice collection at best price.. off course the price in picture is high.. but they have the best on other crafts

If you are shopping for African-themed souvenirs from your trip to SA, this is your one stop. Best selection and prices, hands down!

Fantastic place to visit if you are looking for quality souvenirs from Africa. They have everything from inexpensive trinkets to very expensive jewelry, statues, pelts, and more. They have a cafe on site as well if you are hungry. The prices were great at least when using the US dollar thanks to a great exchange rate. Ostrich eggs were much cheaper and had a better selection than those you find in the airport.

It's a one stop souvenirs and gift solution if you are visiting SA for short duration. The place has it all. Prices are fixed but a 20% discount is available to diplomats.

Always a pleasure shopping here. Wide selection of curios and jewelry. Even got offered a cappuccino.
