Cami Racing

Went here for the plate 2023, and I thought everything was excellent. We were in premier enclosure but still plenty of space to stand or sit comfortably, easy to get to bookies for betting lots of food and drink stands with average prices you would expect to pay these days. Plenty of free parking and reasonably friendly staff for the most part. Highly recommend a visit.

very nice course with easy access to parade ring, course and winner’s enclosure. able to see the entire 8f stretch from the finish line but not easy to see the rest of the course from the floor. only one screen so the parts you can’t see are also sometimes difficult to view from certain areas. easy entrance for pre booked ticket holders. 10 minute walking distance from a 4* hotel.

Visited the living north exhibition in late May. The exhibition was very good. The facilities were good. On a more general point I though the race courses buildings needed freshning up, it looked tired and worn out. Taking into consideration gambling is a big business, the actual course looked brilliant but ow it would be time to concentrate on the stands and terracing

It was a great 2 days of racing, as exciting in the afternoon as it was in the evening. Friendly staff , spacious seating, 10 steps to the tiktak dudes who smiled when they took your bet money and again when paying out your winnings. Highly recommended 4 hours of fun.

'free' rides for the kids on Good Friday. You have to go really early for a seat inside cheap end, nowhere to sit in and eat if you don't already have a seat. Parking is free but abysmal when it's been raining as on grass, cars getting stuck and people slip over like today. Wear wellies! Plenty of bookies outside, cash and card . card only payments for food, drinks and program.

First time at the races, amazing atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Had the best time here. BUT a boy called micheal green. What a legend! Seen my friend was too drunk and carried her to the car! He explained to her mam what had happened and that he was sorry it happend on the racing grounds. Absolutely amazing lad he should be appreciated by employers because we couldn’t have coped without him!!!!

Staff really friendly. Plenty of betting outlets. Everywhere took cash or card. Good range of drinks available. Decent process for taxis at the end given the circumstances of 100s of boozy punters.
