Our Farmers, sourced from all over Southern Africa, deliver 24/7 in huge trucks onto the trading floor to their individual agents (9 on the Cape Town floor) where the pallets are labelled, graded and priced. It is the ONLY COMMISSIONED market in the Western Cape ie Strongly Benefits the Farmer.
Our Buyers, the large retailers, the hawkers, housewives, chefs, hoteliers, foodies, market fiends and all others up in the early hours will start to come to the market at 3am Monday to Saturday. Best to come as early as possible to get the best quality product and to negotiate price......walk away inspired and greedy for more!

Amazing place to be. JUICE DOCTOR SECOND HOME CHOICE

This is the new market at the Epping market location...wow it is absolutely amazing. Plenty of safe parking and great prices too!

Wonderful experience. Seeing buyers, sellers and pickers in action. Very good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables.  On site free parking. A very early start to a day to get the best produce.

Friendly festive atmosphere. Good quality in season fruit and vegetables. .

Fruits and vegetables at a very affordable prices. There are lots of people ready to assist at a reasonable price. Thanks to September, the guy who helped us, he was lovely and understanding. It's always best to go very early in the morning. The market opens by 3am in the morning and close by 8am on Saturday. You can also buy outside the main market if you arrive a little bit late

Huge respect to those farmers and selling, this place is a haven for those who are serious about their fruits and vegetables. Get up early and well rested, be prepared to have a thrilling shopping experience.

Wonderful place to purchase all your fruit and veg at the best prices. Minimum quantities are higher than at normal retailers.

A very cheapest market to stock for your mini market, as you mostly know the home of fruit in SA, is Western Cape, such as Ceres, Grabouw, De doorns, you can name them, plenty farms.

Clean and neat. Also the cleanest fresh produce market in Africa I have ever visited

Love shopping here. Fruit is SO much cheaper. You do however need to be prepared to cook some fruit as the soft fruit is sometimes quite varied in quality. Still excellent value as long as you're happy to buy a box
