Was pleasantly surprised when I visited the Menlyn Mall branch. Almost every staff member passing by checked to see if I was assisted and every one else was well catered for. One gentleman in particular Isaac Tshabalala went all out checking availability of stock, the material I wanted and I eventually got exactly what I was looking for. If this is the attitude of the store I'll be visiting them more often. You should too.
I visited your Menlyn Maine Central Square on Friday I'm the tall black lady who stood by the till while Moitlisi took a call and remained on that call. She disregard my presence. Few seconds later I had to ask if I can pay only then she dropped the call and attended to me, she was not even bothered, no apology nothing. I will go back to my branch in Irene they seem to appreciate my presence better.
This was by far one of my best visits to any Cape Union Mart Branch. Staff greeted friendly at the door and made the covid screening and package sealing before entering quick and pain free. Staff stood ready at the door and in the departments to assist customers where needed. While searching for items, Gerhard offered assistance and guided me right through my shopping and assisted me in finding all the items I would need for my trip. Whatever was not on the floor he searched for at the back for me and helped me to get all the items I needed quickly. The checkout process went quickly and staff could recommend where to find out of stock items at other branches or when they will have it in stock again.

Last weekend I visited Menlyn Mall in search of a very specific item. I had visited several shops in the mall, but none of them had the item I was looking for. I eventually visited Cape Union Mart and was greeted by a very friendly and helpful lady who went above and beyond my expectations. Although they did not have the item in stock, she peristed to locate it at another store. She spent several minutes searching the database and calling just to make sure they have the item on the floor. Great service! I wish I took her name...
One of the greatest shopping experiences I have had! It so great speaking to a salesperson that really knows their products that they are selling but more importantly that have used the products in the intended application. William knows the environment I'm heading to and made recommendation on personal experiences with the products he has used there.
No help! Look at them standing around. Cape Union Mart Kolonnade has fewer staff members but you will not be able to enter that store without immediately being offered assistance. Menlyn Cape Union Mart get your act together!
Pathetic service, stood waiting for 15 minutes looking for someone to help with a shoe size. Staff was too busy cashing up and getting ready to close... mind you this was still a good half a hour before the stated closing time. If this is the attitude of the staff, rather just close the shop earlier.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They even do a great job of making extra sales. Love going there.
We received an excellent service from the friendly staff. It's really a pleasure to go to this store.
