Booked this hotel for our 10th wedding anniversary, and it did not disappoint! From beginning to end it was absolutely perfect! We were welcomed with champagne and lit candles in our room and super friendly staff! The breakfast was incredible, super tasty and well prepared. They definitely made this one trip we'll never forget!
Nice and quirky hotel, staff are super nice and friendly which was great. It is the attention to detail they need to get right though which would make the place even better. Old speaker system in room that didn’t work, so why not just remove it. Old items just left outside on the stairs rather than just removed completely. The lift was really quite loud next to our room. Also The Apartment, whilst a great huge space didn’t feel safe or secure as there is a fire exit that goes through that room. I didn’t think about it until after but of the fire alarm went off I’m guessing people could just walk through your room with all your stuff in. The hotel could be great with some rather minor changes but don’t think I would go back.
This place is so beautiful, absolute breath taking. The color coordinate is just perfect. It's a great place to unwind. Oh the stuff is super friendly and helpful. The food is out of this world. I would definitely recommend this gorgeous place. My stay was just shorter :Rooms: 5/5

Our room was modern, clean and a very relaxing space. All the staff were friendly and so helpful. Breakfast is a real treat! Definitely a highlight on our trip!Rooms: 5/5
From the receptionist to Night shift security, the breakfast was delicious , I'm really happy I don't want to lie. The room was beautiful, facilities I loved, they just need to improve on evening lights by the pool section. Rooms: The room was big and beautiful inside, I loved it
The room is very spacious and well fitted. Good view of the city. Central to Cape town city, and within walking distance from bus stops. Room service, Restaurant menu and communication are all on Whats app. Found it very comfortable and up to date. The room was ready @ 14H00 when we checked in, it was in very good condition, very clean. Don't leave your keys at the front desk or security, you are practically telling the world you are not in your room. Never ever in 30 years of travel, I left a key at reception. My own security rules, served me well up till now.
Some of the best staff I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with on any stay. The hotel itself is a great boutique option and the room was very spacious and super comfortable with a great view of the city. The rooftop is a great place to wind down.Rooms: 5/5
I have stayed in the largest 6 and smallest 1 rooms and I enjoyed both equally. I can truly say that comfort and luxury is not dependent on size. Ideas Cartel never disappoints, especially with their attention to detail. The room service from Brunch CT is excellent. A late night snack ordered from Uber eats was super convenient. Many restaurants are available within close proximity. We, however, chose to visit Misfits CT and we were so glad we did. Do yourself a favour and get in a cab for the short 5min drive, traffic dependent. We shall be back soon to try rooms number 3, 4 and 5 which we believe each have their own character. Thank you, Karen, for these suggestions and your excellent hospitality. Well done to the owners for their excellent vision in a busy city centre.
This place is beautiful; their contemporary interior design is breathtaking, with bold colors and textured spaces. I love the finer details in the room, and I most certainly appreciated how we were received as guests. The receptionist lady was highly professional. Though they don't have onsite parking -i do believed that they made up with their excellent service. Will definitely return to this hotel!
