The rooms are big enough to share , the most advantageous thing it's closed to the central bus station .Rooms: 3/5
Good place. Secure buildings. The pricing is fair and it is great that the apartments come with a few amenities or should I said semi-furnished. There's also WiFi which is great! Those are some of the good pros. I suppose the only major con or downside is the fact that in majority of the buildings, bathrooms as well as toilets are shared, even if you stay in a "bachelor" But it is understandable as per the buildings' histories plus. I'd definitely recommend it for students esp undergraduates.
I stayed at Minnaar building. It is not that bad but one thing for sure is that you don't get your full deposit back which is really disappointing considering how they pressure you to pay rent every month. These guys are bunch of scams. To add on that the place is really noisy there is no privacy at all.
Conrad Kgwadi is directing the biggest student accommodation scam to hit tha City. Tried to contact him personally on LinkedIn... he removed he's profile picture and contact details. Need I say more. I mean. Read the reviews
The worst student accommodation I’ve ever came across. DO NOT GO TO ANY OF THEIR BUILDINGS. The securities including the caretaker harass their tenants. Small toilet sized rooms that are really expensive. Cleaning staff is always late, therefore passages and kitchen is dirty. Staff members of the head office are really rude. They make up their rules with their weird fines and they don’t care about tenants. ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY. Also we haven’t received our deposit refunds. If you’re comfortable living in prison then this is the place for you.
The place is very dysfunctional especially the employees, they are extremely rude. No hot water, few toilets plus they don’t give you the full deposit back. They randomly increase prices. Students don’t come to this accomodation, it is not up to standard. Most of the students are trying to leave the place because of the nonesense.
The company really cares about their tenants, and go the extra mile to make sure their safe, the 24h security patrols and is friendly and firm. The staff are helpful and they convey messages clearly and efficiently. Ive been staying at TSB and the student life is lit, Ive made so many friends while still being able to focus on my school work thanks to the uncapped wifi. They even have a new gym being built, they're constantly improving the residence.
I've stayed there for 3 years now, the greatest thing is that the company gives back to the community by providing job opportunities to the students like e.g i did marketing at the beginning of the year which was great... The other thing is the uncapped wifi, data is expensive so it really comes in handy.
This place is VERY. The ladies at the reception are so disrespectful and the manager. The rooms are a size of a toilet. You pay R2000 on top of that you buy your own electricityR50 if your car is parking there at night, R50 if your visitor sleeps over. The pricing is unreasonable. The security is useless. No Human Should Live Here!
The staff at the office is rude, incompetent, they are not punctual, which is funny considering that they work in customer service. They make up "rules" as they go and don't notify the tenants. Don't even try to waste your money and go live there or take your child to live there. It's not worth it. They are very very rude, including the caretakers.
