Cecil Payne Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Roodepoort, a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is set to be utilized as a training field for teams participating in the 2010 FIFA World Cup after being brought up to FIFA standards.

"Delfos Cricket Club is on the grounds of the Cecil Payne Stadium. This sports complex has a fully maintained Soccer field with accompanying grandstand. There are also two, CGL approved, batting wickets on the dual cricket ovals."

Nice cricket stadium, Slow pitch but once you get use to the pace of wicket batting becomes easy. Out field is very very Slow ground shots hardly go over the rope.

The shooting range behind the stadium is always great fun. Nice secluded areas throughout the range. Fantastic place to work on your aim and reloading abilities.

Courts are not maintained at all. Over grown grass and court surface damaged with loads of sand causing many of our netball players to fall during matches. Bathroom facilities clean however not always accessible as they lock them

Great cricket venue. Much improved over the last couple years. Main oval possibly one of the best around.

Well kept grounds Tuck shop very well priced for a club.
