Heartbreaking to see so many beautiful animals waiting to be adopted. Staff were helpful and their Facebook page is great for getting updates.
Very friendly and super sufficient, stood there for a while completing the form, and I must say, the lady dealt with a lot.... she made you feel at home and were very sincere with us having to put our old girl down.....
I always supported the SPCA, but after today, it makes sense why so many kennels is full of animals. There is alot of paper work which I am fine with as well as the home inspection that i have no problem with. My dad wanted to adopt a dog through them, but they require him to take all this animals through to the SPCA to see if the new doggie will fit in. So where is the new dog going to live? At the SPCA or at my dad's house? Of course his dogs is going to react differently there due to all the smells. Instead they should bring the new dog to see how he/she will adapt in her new home. Pathetic if you ask me.
Worst experience ever And this is me being kind. These people are rude and the manager is never available. She never responds to anyone and makes the adoption process so challenging.
Animals seem to be well taken care off from what I could see during my visit. The staff are also very friendly and were able to assist with all my queries. They have a shop on site where the proceeds are used for the animals, while goods can also be donated for sale in the shop.
Absolutely disgusting place! Asked for advise on my sick animal and woman at front desk said “just put him down”! You cold hearted idiot!
Very friendly and helpful telephonically, they send out a van within half an hour if you find lost pets. We appreciate the work you do! Thank you!

I hope that the beautiful animals are adopted by good families so they to can experience love. The staff will assist you with all you need to know and expect when adopting.
Two dogs left behind by a client needed a home desperately. I called Roodepoort SPCA and their driver arrived within an hour to collect them. Excellent service at short notice.
