CUT has a new Vision and strategic trajectory for the year 2020, and the Vision statement is “By 2020, Central University of Technology, Free State, shall be an engaged university that focuses on producing quality social and technological innovations in socio-economic developments, primarily in the Central region of South Africa”. Amazing campus, with state of the art facilities, which is inclusive of disabled students  technological and traditional faculties. Very innovative Career Office and Campus radio station CUTFM.

I felt like the time I missed its possible to create a better tomorrow  .just  wow and I can't wait to go back

Terrible!  They failed to enter my marks for one of my subjects I received 84% but they did not enter it so I never received my ADV Diploma that was back in 2020 now the marks have been fixed but they only allow me to graduate in September 2022!  They mess up but you carry the consequences and they do not care at all they will throw you under the bus DO NOT GO HERE!

Best institution ever...it's inspiring, motivating and positive environment.

UNPROFESSIONAL AND LAZY STAFF  Honestly the admin department at CUT are the rudest and laziest people to deal with. Explains why students are constantly striking and complaining. Its truly easy for the institution to look at the students and blame them but we need to truly be honest about the root cause, CUT staff are lazy. Calling for information seems like rocket science, truly suggest a clean up of staff and hire people that are passionate about delivery and respect for their discipline and treatment of others. The institution seem to be deteriorating and blaming kids that come and eventually leave is not sensible or logical, staff members are conformable and forget why they come to work. The student fight, strike and cause chaos because someone is failing to do their job, its as simple as that.

It's really sad how financial matters are handled. Late or no rental allowances for NSFAS students and the same can be said about meal allowance. IT'S A MESS. Financial staff help you like they are doing you a favour. It's really hard for most nsfas students to study while they have their allowances delayed.

It was always amazing to be in a healthy and educational environment. My experience was fantastic

Central University of Technology offers the worst service, the administration process at finance department really needs attention & detailed financial auditing. I graduated in 2019 and to this day CUT is not able to release my certificate, fees which were payed November 2018 still cannot be allocated or traced. The service offered deserves a rating of zero, not 1 star

Attended the hotel school dinners multiple times - wonderful experience and a must if you like fine dining! Plus you support the students with their practical activities. Well done to all involved.
