Chatsworth Magistrates Court

This place is a joke. They have no compassion for abused woman. The individuals issuing protection orders withold protection orders from woman who are actually physically abused. They do not view actual evidence and deal with cases by the masses so they just want to get it over and done with. No love for their jobs especially an Indian male in family court section. He is a disgrace. They have forgotten the Batho Pele principles. Dismissed valid cases. I was shocked walking out of family court today. This country is headed down the drain and is for the unjust and criminals. Don't waste your time trying to protect yourself. When going for a protection order make sure you check what documents you are issued. You will be treated like an animal.

To much delays for other cases and wrong decisions. The court sometime it favoured for certain race of people . SOP for court need to be monited. Decision making on other cases you can that the proccess it not good enough to make decision.

Was given a time for argument for harassment case and the case was called first and dismissed. Was there 9h15 name was never called again.

We waited 3 hours to be give witness fees then we were told that there was no money so we had to walk home

The worst service you can ever receive...can wait the entire day to be attended to ....just get pushed from one person to the next ...if staff are familiar with you bet u will receive better service than someone else

What pathetic service delivery from the Civil Section of this Court!!!

Toilets are very hard to find

This place is absolutely useless
