As far as I could tell, without consultation, she bought most of my clothes from Next or M&S. Whilst these were more or less acceptable, I hadn't thought about any other source, not having to think about it in the first place - just like house cleaning, cooking, banking, or buying groceries. But, the death of one's wife cancer suddenly opens up a whole range of other activities previously entrusted to another. Left now to my own devices, I researched and was attracted by the products, the reviews, background family firms are invariably better than large corporations length of business, returns policy and the websites. Two firms stood out after much research, one very local here in Bath and Peter Christian. I really must commend myself on my choices. Both are excellent, each having a different advantage over the other, thus fulfilling my requirements more than sufficiently.

My husband recently purchased 2 Moleskin Jeans from you. One Dark Blue the other Loden. Whilst we have no complaints about the cut and quality of the material. The dark Blue seems to attract white fluff and dust on a dreadful scale, making the garment look unsightly and practically unwearable. Do you have any advice regarding washing or spray application. that would resolve this problem Eunice Williams

A excellent on line Gentleman's outfitters with a great selection of Harris Tweed suits, Shirts and all other clothes for the smart Gentleman.I was looking for a Harris Tweed 3 piece suite for my wedding in June. I saw the Slate Blue Harris Tweed 3 piece suite but wasn't sure of my measurements. I rung customer services and ended up making an appointment at their shop in Partridge Green. The shop is open 10.00 - 12.00 and then 14.00 - 16.00, making an appointment is recommended then you have the undivided attention of SIGY who runs the shop and CARON the in house tailoress. I had a 14.00 appointment and was a good hour this included CARON altering leg length and trying the suit on with expert advice from SIGY. I ended up getting The Slate Blue Harris Tweed 3 piece suit, with a leather belt for a little over £500. Some may say a little expensive, I say you get what you pay for absolute top quality.If visiting the shop situated behind the Brewery a face mask to be worn.

I have been buying my clothes from Peter Christian for the last 5 or 6 years mainly jumpers, shirts and trousers. I can tell you that I have always received professional service from everyone at the company without exception. If you want to buy cheap stuff cheap, then Peter Christian is not for you, but if you want to buy the very best quality at reasonable prices, then give them a try. well worth it !!

First-class shopping experience. Ordered 2 pairs of trousers, one of which didn’t fit as well as the other - which can happen regardless of retailer. But return policy very simple, and perfectly-fitting replacement received a few days later. Would happily use this Company again.

Great quality clothes at reasonable prices, delivered on time. So far I've not reason to test their returns policy, which speaks for itself.

Delighted with my order. The shorts are solidly made, with an excellent fit and cut. They look like clothes that will last years, not a few months, and so far they feel very comfortable. Now I’ve ascertained size I will be buying more

Ordered shoes, money taken from my account on order, no shoes arrived six days later. Phoned them 'we're busy, we hope to despatch them early next week'! Not good enough...... Update , two days later: well done Peter Christian Customer Service, shoes arrived by express post today after I contacted them

Bought a couple of pairs of cords recently - quality is really rather good and they're clearly a very well made and designed pair of trousers. My only gripe would be the fact they're about an inch and a half longer than my other 32 trousers, which makes them a bit long. This could equally be the fault of the other pairs I own, however.

Having bought a 3 piece suit from Peter Christian for my partner, we had the most fantastic experience! Peter Christian went over and above to ensure I got the suit on time in the right size for the next day so much so that one of the staff personally delivered it to Royal Mail herself as I ordered it after 4pm. I then got a text from her updating me and putting my mind at rest that we would get the suit in time for the ball the following day. Not to mention the quality and price were amazing.Thanks so much to Miranda and team, I would 100% recommend Peter Christian to everyone.
