Circe Launches

Do NOT visit if you dislike the smell of the ocean and all that lives inside of it! For us who do love it, the trip was affordable and we enjoyed it. The weather was sunny and lovely, so the ride wasn't too bumpy. It was about 45minutes incl return. We visited the Duikerseal island, the boat ride down/up there is very scenic. Our "captain" managed to share his knowledge with a bit of wit, and without turning the whole trip into a lecture lol!

We go every year and always love it.

You can't hear anything the driver of the boat says when doing the cruise, but the experience was very nice. Just a heads up, when you get to the island it's best to cover you nose

We had a great boat trip with spectacular views of Hout Bay and a quick stop at the seal islands. There were lots of seals, and we had a fun ride. The boat ride was reasonably priced, and our children enjoyed the boat ride. We also were able to take our jogging stroller on the boat. They advertised that their boat is glass-bottomed. I went inside the boat, but couldn’t find the glass. If there is any glass, it must be a really small portion of the boat.

Cheap boat ride, about 40 minute round trip. The boat has a glass bottom where you can see the coral reefs and fish when the boat is taking a photo stop at the island. On the way to the island, you are spoilt with beautiful views of Chapman's Peak, Houtbay & the harbor. Seal island is quite an experience - from afar it looks like fur covered rocks, but up close you can see and smell the bigger seals higher up and watch the young ones play and twirl in the water.

We were WOWed by our experience today going out to seal island, via Hout bay behind the beach breakwater and along past Tint-swallow resort area and across. Such an amazing captain & skipper and so much interesting info. Boat was super clean & there were lots of places to sit. Such a fun, inexpensive 1hr trip for kids. They asked if they could go back again next weekend! Highly recommended and much nicer than the other boats / service providers doing this same tour.

The boat was small and the weather was windy and raining the waves was little high i liked this particular experience it was nicely scary hhhhh Saw the seals there were lot of them

I went on my first boat ride with Circe Launches and everything was amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful

Nice trip, it takes only 45 minutes but is was a good experience.

Very good price for what you get. Would have given it 5 starts if we didn't have to wait another 20min before departure. Departure was set for 12 we only left at 12:22. And kids don't understand waiting this long.
