A lovely place to chill and unwind with food and drinks galore. The coffees were amazing with double shot of espresso. Seperated from the bar which was upstairs made it pleasant for those of us that don't drink alcohol and who had kids in our company.
Nice place, you get either get a beer, a pizza, or some nice coffee while reading a book :

I was here over lunch, had fish chips and a small coke for R35. Unfortunately many of the business stands are not in business but I believe the venue could be very successful if the business owners make a serious marketing effort. On the ground floor is the fish and chips place which was quick with service, a curry food place, a smoked meat place and a more traditional food place "skop" and such foods. On the next floor was a small bookshop also selling coffee and drinks and a an alcohol bar with chairs and tables on the balcony. And the whole venue is situated in one of the magnificent old buildings of the CBD with marble and beautiful pillars. I hope business picks up, it should be a great place to take a break from the office over lunch.
City Central is situated in one of the old buildings in jhb cbd, so just being there with the extra high ceiling and lots of marble is quiet an experience. Then have the choice of some good food from the various vendors that makes for a worthwhile outing
What a great spot! We had dinner there, however our chops were undercooked but they took them back to grill them some more. The spot is beautiful and definetely something to experience!
Amazing story telling,beautiful intimate setting a must do even for a Joburger.Very insightful and friendly Gerald and the team do a phenomenal job. The meal prepared by Princess the chef with her team are a must do.
