City Lodge, Bryanston West

I joined a friend who was a guest at the hotel for breakfast. The breakfast was excellent and the service was on par for a good hotel although considering it was quiet it should have been a bit sharper. The omelette make by the chef was outstanding and that alone is worth the visit! I cannot comment on the rooms.

This should not be called CITY LODGE. Very noisy. Throughout the night. Noisy drunk women. No way you can sleep for even 10 minutes. So if you get off a plane and had a long journey and need rest stay somewhere else! . How can Management allow this type of behavior? Road Lodge is MUCH BETTER AND CHEAPER. Rooms at Bryanston don’t get cleaned. The lady came to clean my room in the morning all she did was fold the towels and made the bed. That’s it!! Breakfast was horrible. Couldn’t get it in no matter what. Neither were they prepared. This Lodge should not fall under City Lodge. Terrible. Who is the manager??!! Very badly run in my opinion compared to other City Lodges. Rooms are also not good.

Frontoffice - Staff very friendly, professional and assist me very fast. Rooms - Clean, neat, need a bit of a update but on standard with star rating. Coffee station, place to work, clean comfy bed. Bathroom - toilet and shower with amnities. No complaints. TV network - not lots of options. Free channels. Restaurant - Breakfast is the star of the story here. Lots of options. Dinner - although my food was very good, we waited very long and some essential dishes as on menu was left out on plate without any explanation or asking if we want something else. Free welcome drinks and wifi available. Pool and Bar available as well as room service. Close to hospitals and Business district as well as shops. Did not experience loadshedding... for that I will add a star. Safety: Have to scan in when entering premises. Keep ID or Drivers licence ready. Noteworthy details: Hotel should add USB plugs in room, at bedstands.

A 3 star hotel with a 5-star customer service! Glen and Cynthia at Reception were exceptional! Nothing was too difficult for them to do to make our stay warm, welcoming and comfortable.Rooms: 5/5

Great outdoor space, friendly staff across the board, very comfortable room and modern bathroom. Lots of extra touches such as fruit cocktails, fresh muffins to take with, etc.Rooms: 5/5

Beautiful, quiet hotel not far from many medical facilities and businesses, at a walking distance. Service is acceptable, the nightshift guy at reception desk works alone and is sometimes overburdened. Rooms are very good and clean. There was no fridge, or at least I did not find it.Rooms: 4/5

City Lodge Bryanston .....great accommodation..... good breakfast.... and kind reception and room cleaners. Great place to stay.

The rooms are beautiful, and especially clean. Services are friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Next time we will book the breakfast as well!!Rooms: 5/5
