One of the few remaining queer spaces in the city. It hosts drag shows regularly and the drinks are well priced. Good place for a Friday night razzle with friends. Bring cash to tip the queens!
Fun!!! Spacious. Decent drinks. Great vibes.
A place where free spirited people meet. My 1st time here was amazing. Im on my 5th time now and for all my visits i give them 10/10. The jalapeno poppers are mind blowing! Bar service is good. Music is good!
Comically bad service. As you can see, we were the only table yet was ignored, waited over 50 minutes for 3 pizzas then was provided with 2 pizza and 2 napkins for 3 people. They sat around the bar talking to themselves. The food didn’t taste bad hence the second star.
The community here is rock solid and super fun. Love going here to see people feel comfortable in there own skin. My gripes are with the alcohol quality watered down, the bouncers definitely not very sensitive to queer lifestyle and, by far, the music. Super commerical these days. Just get like, one other DJ in sometime?
A lively bar serving bar food, but not a restaurant. Food: avoid the pizza - was clearly a mass-produced base possibly a full mass-produced pizza? with a couple of fresh ingredients added, cooked to dry/crispy. Very similar to a Dr Oetker supermarket oven pizza. Was also gritty to eat - from the oven base? Tuna “catch of the day” was okay but overcooked and dry. Service was pleasant and drinks came quickly. Food took a long time, but possibly they had a rush on at the time.
Delicious meal. Value for money
The Fabulous Family House Its my home away from home, so you know I'm gonna rave about this. The space is the most inclusive space filled with the most creative , unique and incredible performers. Who not only are amazing on stage but are also the most beautiful souls to be with. They are friends who feel like family already. The owner, Roberto, always make guests feel so welcomed. He always host the best events and features the hottest Tallent in the drag scene. The club is fabulous as the people who attend. It's always buzzing with laughter, fun, drinks and loads of dancing. The bathrooms are gender neutral, it has 2 bars, an onsite ATM, tables and chairs for chilling, a stage and even a pole for those daring enough or on liquid courage. There's an event happening almost everyday so there's always a Patsy to enjoy and let loose at. The barman are friendly and the patrond are all open minded so there's no judgement to even those who are not LGBTQIA++ that attend. #ForYourToDoList
All inclusive gay club located in Canterbury Street same road as Charley’s Bakery where mostly queer POC meet up and hang out. Reasonably priced drinks and drag shows every weekend by resident and emerging drag queens. Cover charge is always R20.00 unless there is an event. The vibe is amazing and very gay.
I just loved the free spirited vibe of the patrons. The food was great and the bar service was on point and the guys were super friendly. Wll definitely go back there again.
