Meh. Tables need maintenance. Area is not great. One of the best pool halls from years ago has let itself go and needs to get back in shape. There's better places to go for a game of pool.

If you like bars and a nice place to play pool, this is your place. They have a decent number of pool tables, you don't have to queue for one. The alcohol is a bit pricey but ok. Be prepared to pay R30 entrance fee. The place is not crowded at all and the music is good if you're into classics.

A bit late to this review but I was there on Friday, after a long day at homeaffairs, my friend and I wanted to get a drink, I had a small bottle of fanta in my hands when we walked in, as we got to the bar, a very aggressive bouncer took it out my hand. He told me no drinks were allowed. Understandable. I asked him if I could please put it in my bag and he refused, I then asked him what he would do with it and he told me he was going to throw it away, I have no issues with them not allowing drinks in, what I do have an issue with was how aggressive this bouncer was. I felt very intimidated and uncomfortable after this encounter and told him we would rather go some place else, I tried to take my fanta back from him and he held onto it tightly, looking me dead in the eyes, I felt so uncomfortable and kept telling him we'd rather go somewhere else, only after the 3rd time of saying this, he let go of my drink. I didn't even get to try anything there or meet any of the other staff, but the entire situation left a very bad taste in my mouth. As a woman I don't appreciate being intimidated by a man in such a manner and wouldn't feel comfortable going back there.

If you looking for a vibe this is the place to be. Affordable drinks and staff is friendly. Very neat and clean. Happy hour from 12 till 6pm

Music lacked bass, ear piercing treble at extremely high volumes for a pool bar. Pool Tables were not maintained and ques were warped.

No aircon in this place funny smells….too over crowded and only one exit

I had a very bad experience last time I was there Monday 28 Feb...and I'm regular also there because I stay close by and watch football there now and then.I had an argument with someone upstairs the smoking area but that is expected when people are under influence but a bouncer was called during the argument after I was strangled upstairs and being thrown on the floor after that.The bouncer who was on duty the came to grab and pushed me outside the smoking area while saying to the other one "can you please leave I'm begging you." Those were his exact words..but al in all that guy is not fit to work in public place like that and he is going to make the rest of the staff bad because the bar tenders to the management they are nice people which is I've known them for long time now.This needs attention because everyone needs to feel safe

It's an excellent place to chill and play pool with your friends, while you drink yourselves to oblivion. Overall its great atmosphere to enjoy good time with your loved ones, and also challenge them in the pool tables.
