Security don't help and even hinder the client, never had such bad service in my life. The attitude is indifferent to the client. I don't care attitude. If you deal with clients you should be respectful helpful and friendly, not a I don't care attitude.Rooms: 1/5
I didn't stay at the hotel but used the attached parking garage when attending a nearby concert. When returning with the other concertgoers there was only one machine available to pay for parking so we stood in the queue for about 20 minutes. There was no notice at the lift pointing out the discrepancy between parking levels and the floors of the main building. When we were unable to access the parking garage from the top four floors we wasted a further 20 minutes returning to the hotel lobby for help. The hotel employee was unable to advise and when she disappeared we returned to the top floors and eventually found access to level 10 on floor 6. It took a further 20 minutes of queuing before being able to exit the garage with a powerful smell of exhaust fumes in the unventilated building. An employee at the only exit was having to swipe the tickets himself, for some reason. A most unpleasant hour wasted due to poor planning and inefficiency.
Great office space. Overlooking the roof top pool. Very scenic, spacious, clean. Although on the 7th floor, as long as lifts operate its a breeze. BUT when there's a power failure, these lifts don't operate and walking the steps become real.Service: 4/5
The website when viewed on a mobile fone is terrible. No defined and logical pathways to view products and make enquiries into bookings.
I recommend this place, I had an event there as well everything went well my guest loved it too, I love the design of the hotel.Rooms: 5/5
The service was professional and effective. The rooms were well laid out with modern finishes and underfloor heating, a kitchen, lounge, dining table and a shower with a bath. We were very pleased with the facilities; since most of these are outsourced all of it is well maintained. The hotel is ideally placed. It is just a walk away from many tourist attractions and close to many of the MyCiti Bus stops. The hotel's complimentary shuttle to the V&A adds to the ease of getting around in the city.
This rating specifically applies to the restaurant providing room service and NOT the hotel. We ordered 6 burgers and 1 steak roll last Sunday evening. The food was cold and dry and not very tasty. The person who ate the steak roll ended up being sick from his meal. Totally disappointed and I would go as far as to say that’s the food was disgusting!!
Very nice complex, always cleanRooms: 5/5
The rooms are really well equipped. We had a full kitchen with fridge, freezer, washing machine, Hob, oven, microwave, toaster and even a drier! With ample storage space! The room was large with a breakfast bar style table and chairs to eat at and TV with a number of film, sports and news channels. They do offer free WiFi for two devices per guest giving 250mb of data per day per guest, for us this was ample but you can purchase more. Staff were friendly but for some reason he person on reception couldn’t use the card machine so we had to wait for a colleague before we could pay. One morning we were woken to loud noises from within the hotel and they had workmen dismantling scaffolding and due to the hotel design echoed around the place at 8am and we were nowhere near the scaffolding!
Ideally located in the CBD. Close to the Company Gardens for a leisurely stroll, and in walking distance of popular eateries to delight your taste buds. To the trendy Long Street for its nightlife and short drives to the best beaches Cape Town has to offer. Let's not forget the V&A Waterfront that is ever closer, which is a shopping paradise. And lots, lots more...
