Pretty divey place. Pretty decent food and beer selection. Nice for small shows. I've gotta say, there's some uniqueness to the food on their menu. Their mariachi El dip was definitely something else. Like a big ole tacos Al pastor you can dip. Fries were crisp as all hell, super tasty. I'd come back to try to more food and see another show.
Hit-and-miss shows, hit-and-miss service. I value this place and the good experiences I’ve had there, and it’d be sad to see it close. But it inevitably will someday because 30% of the experiences are terrible, and in the words of some recent bartenders on a busy Friday, they struggle “to keep the lights on.” Interested to see what goes into the space next. Could be cool.
The food here is SO GOOD. The beer here is wonderful too. I highly recommend coming in here for a taste of something different. The Braised Shitake Mushroom Grilled Cheese, is the best.
review is on location and venue !!!!! i’ve never eaten/drank here - im gonna be honest the first time i came here was for a show in 2018? there wasn’t any communication about if people were allowed to stand or form a line, that type of thing. so i got there and left then came back at doors. i thought the venue area was slightly run down but BUT i went back last night and arrived at doors and it has significantly changed!! the location of merch changed and there’s now people who check you in. i really like the renovations, really feels like everything is in order for shows compared to the first time i came here. will def come back
Outstanding bar. Some delicious beers, great food, all with heavy metal playing like Muzak in the background. Friendly staff and a cool vibe. I saw an electronic music concert here. The sound and lights were great. Plenty of room to dance. A second set of bathrooms are inside the concert section, this is nice. Zero complaints, will visit here more often.
Great food. Nice staff. Awesome place. Easy to get there in car. Few steps from the train station. Good experience for our teenage nephews.
This lounge is a great Hangout,, decent Food and they have different Variety of Beer..I came in today because they had a Whut Burger.. only for today..I must say it was Disturbingly Good..
I attended the Motoblot 2022 at the Cobra Lounge and the service was great at the bar. The waitresses were nice and fun. They have good beers with the Temporary Solution Porter as my favorite there. The food was good too. I had a burger basket, but I ordered it as a regular cheese burger rather than their house burger which includes a secret sauce. It came out quickly and was really good. The fries were very good, nice and crispy. Prices were fair. I will be going back when I can.
Great local brewery in Chicago. It's just a block from the Ashland station off of the L. It's also walking distance to the United Center. The atmosphere was great with a punk feel and they even had a punk band playing which was great. Beers are great and so is the staff. A must try for any craft beer lover.
Fun first Moto Monday of 2022 at Cobra Lounge! Great spot for burgers, beers and bikes!
